I think this article reinforces the fact that both trims are great. The answer for which is better is purely subjective at this point. It depends on how the owner intends to use it most frequently. If you spend most of your time offroad in slow-speed technical situations I would grab a rubicon. If you spend your time in less technical stuff I think the Mojave is the way to go.
I have a Mojave and I freaking love the suspension. The ride quality and handling on washboards is amazing. When I slow down in the technical stuff I want the 4:1 t-case though.
For a true wrangler-Esque off-roader you'll be best suited to buying a sport and modding the suspension and drivetrain to your liking.
