So it's not digging in my hip and side when I drive. It goes from hip to dash when I drive and dash to hip when I get out. I carry either a full size HK 45 or a full size FN509. They dig under my rib cage when I'm driving.
Fair enough, I live in canada so that’s just a no go regardless, but I’m a 1911 guy, and Hi-Power
Those are the pistols I own.

Cleaned up my dash wires.

Just FYI there is a filler plug on the dash that leads directly to to glove box.
did you have to remove any dash panels or does it just drop in from the top and easy to see and grab from the area behind the glove box? Thanks

Also, you could to try an angled USB plug if you'd like the media cover to not stick out as much.

Put my wheels and tires on thanks to our site sponsor, Discount Tire. Combined with the military discount, I saved almost $1000. Nitto Ridge Grappler 37x12.5x17 and Method Race Wheels 703 in bronze.

The little filler pops out its a cover for a dashpad bolt. I dropped my wires down wiggled them and reached up from the glove box. It's a blind grab but wasn't too hard.

Well I guess lesson learned - don't park the gladiator for more than a couple weeks without driving it. Battery 100% dead. No recovering it either.
hmm, I left mine with the console open (leaves the light on) for 3 weeks. The gladiator seemed to have turned things off like the info system etc to keep starting power. started up fine and gotbback to normal after a day or so driving

Put it inside my shop! Sad that it took me most of an hour to make room in a 30x40 shop to fit it. I need to get rid of some crap apparently!!
Storms were headed this way with possible tornadoes and large hail. Hadn’t made first payment yet, so had to protect it.

Started my rear seat delete! I'm ultimately (probably) only doing a 60% delete, but I decided to pull both seats out so I could pull off the back wall plastic.. Not sure if that was a mistake yet, pretty much wrecked it pulling it off... Those clips are brutal...

My plan is to make a flat vertical panel that replaces the plastic piece to mount my radios and Renogy power stuff. Once I get that done I'll be making a flat horizontal platform. Basically think all Goose gear, minus the thousands of dollars lol.

Looks good. What lift and tires are you running?
2.5 inch Rubicon Express with Fox 2.0 shocks, RockJock steering system, Bilstein damper, and 37 inch Mickey Thompson Baja Boss tires. Only had it on the trails once so far, but it's feeling pretty good.
