Forgive me I know this question has already been asked before, but I will be putting on the Mopar 2 inch lift for now. Right now I have a Teraflex 1.5 inch leveling kit in the front. Will I need to keep that on with the Mopar lift to keep it level? Thanks for the answers

In my very recent experience the answer is yes (keep the leveling kit). I did the MOPAR kit just last week and also added the Teraflex 1.5" front levels. Measuring from the rock rails, I am within 1/4" front to back. If I took out the pucks I'd definitely have a rake I would not want.

Here's what mine looks like today:

Do you want your gladiator to set level or have the factory rake if it was me I would keep the Teraflex 1.5 leveling kit on with the Mopar 2 inch lift kit that way your gladiator would set level I think they look better level

How much should a shop charge for the 1.5 Tereflex leveling kit install and do I need an alignment as well? Just want to get the rake out of my Willys and put on 33s

No idea on price for an install, I do all my own work. But it's roughly 1/2 the work of a full lift kit. They need to disconnect everything in the front to lower the axle, the same as if they were putting in new springs.

As far as alignment, if you are starting with a JT that's already got good geometry, the only 2 things you might need are an adjustable track bar to re-center the axle and maybe longer, or adjustable, LCA's to correct caster. Toe will not be affected by a lift or spacer, and camber is fixed and cannot be adjusted on our axles.

For a 1.5" spacer, you may not need either. You're going to get 1000 different opinions... drive it without either before you spend any more money.

Did you add shock extensions to the front for the level kit? Did you also buy a steering stabilizer and adjustable track bar? Looking into doing the same set up

Shock extensions: no. I wanted to keep the shock travel the same. Any longer I may be looking at aftermarket driveshafts.

Stabilizer: no. The factory one has done well with this setup so far. I'll be taking it on a trail ride at the end of Feb, so who knows after that

Adj Track bar: yes - Yeti XD

@OHJeeper , it been a couple of months since you did the Mopar lift with the teraflex. How’s it worked out so far? Thinking of putting in the teraflex 1.5. Did you do any other suspension mods. I have the Mopar 2” for diesel and it still rakes. I put on Fox 3.0 shocks and those turned the the Jeep in Tia Cadillac ride on the highway. But I still have the rake even with 37’s. Just looking for some usage review. Thanks

Still like it! I have not been able to do any wheeling yet because of family schedules, but we will in April. The teraflex kit comes in 2 pieces: a 1" puck and a 1/2" puck. You could always start with just the 1" and see how you like it, or visa-versa. I added a winch and dropped about 1/2" even with both pucks. Not noticeable to the eye, only the measuring tape...

The only other mod I did was a Yeti adjustable track bar.

Good luck!

OHJeeper,
Please give me an update on this setup.
I have a '22 JTRD on Nitto Trail Grappler 35x12.5x17 & oem wheels
Currently running the Teraflex 1.5 level kit and Teraflex 2" lower shock mount extension
Plan on going to the same tire in a 37", doing the Mopar Bilstein 2" and the Mopar 4.10 when I wear out the current 35s.

Have you had any artculation problems as a result of using the Teraflex 1.5 with the Mopar 2 such as brake lines or locker wire harness ?

Does the rear drop below level with lightish* loads in the bed ? Trying to decide if I should level with both pucks or just the 1"

Thanks for your help
