Would it cause issues running taller tires? Thats good to know the Rubi has taller flairs. I didn't realize that. Pics I have looked at all seem the same so it's hard to tell I guess.

I’m sure this reply has happened, but oh well. The only way to get close to max tow’s 7650 is to get a rubicon which is rated for 7000. That’s why we got the rubicon. Good towing capacity and dual lockers and electric sway bar disconnect. It’s the perfect trim level for off road towing. The Mohave is just better for high speed off-roading. The rubicon wins for rocks all day.

You can't place an order directly online, so.....

You might take your "configuration" to a dealer, and they would then inform you they can't order it as spec'd. Has happened before to members. Things change but the online tool doesn't reflect it. Either way, no order would be able to be placed until you configure it in a way that the dealer's order system accepts. That system is completely separate from the online configurator and will have differences in available options and pricing.

The online tool is great for getting a general idea. It is not great for getting a specific build. For specifics, and confirmation of what you can or can't order together, you need to get in touch with a dealer.

Back to the question at hand, if multiple dealers are telling him that the Altitude cannot be ordered with the Max Tow package, then they can't order it. Showing them a piece of paper from the internet won't change what their system is allowing them to do. One person saying no, sure maybe they're doing something wrong. But 6+ phone calls all with the same answer? Sounds like he really can't order it. If someone has a dealer on the line that says differently, that would change the conversation, and I'd just go order through them if they claim they can do it. But in the grand scheme of things, you can just order a Sport S with your desired options instead and not be missing out.

So should JeepCares be made aware of this discrepancy. And is this a dealer ordering system issue/oversight perhaps.

Not “all other trims” have a max of 6k. Some are 7k.

The only thing the tow package on the Mojave adds is a receiver hitch. Period.

You would be a fool to swap to Max Tow springs because the Mojave suspension tuning is about as good as it gets.

I've mentioned before that the Mojave is the only Gladiator that truly feels "sorted" in the suspension department when it comes to every day unladen driving on the road.

This is a thread I started a few months ago wondering out loud whether the tow package on a Mojave was worth it.

Knowing what I know now, I'd say it is NOT. You are essentially paying $600 for a receiver hitch that can be purchased separately for $225 and installed in about an hour.

(877) 426-5337. Not that it will do anything to get you a truck ordered though. I'm just explaining how things work. If you want to change how ordering things works, you'll have to take that up with Jeep.

My tow package Sport S pulls my travel trailer just fine, but if I towed more weight then I’d certainly want heavier duty. My only reason for not having max tow was this one was Gator ?. Regardless I think this is a small and light truck for more than 6,000 lbs.
