Sorry for your experience. I just ordered from Amazon one of their bumpers from another vendor and it was here in 3 days. @Quadratec has always done me right in over 30 years. My experience was always good so I hope you get some movement or explanations for the delay.

Not gonna bag on Quadratec too much but I stopped using them. Their website isn’t great and compared to ExtremeTerrain they’re customer service and return process is lacking.

I hope they make your situation right OP.

my favorite is when quadratec lists stuff in stock only to find out after the order that it is not.
Yeah, and then not email or tell you after the fact to only find out it went back order when you have to check yourself.

That is one good thing about Northridge 4x4, if it says "In Stock" then 99.9% chance it is but they will contact you if there is a discrepancy after the order.

i have had great luck with northridge, have used them for most my orders since 09. But quadratec i have used several times in the past and it was great however last couple times i have not been able to get what i ordered.

Totally agree I stopped all relationships with Quadretec over a year ago.

I was always wary of Quadratec due to the prices they charged for what I was interested in. It seems like it was always cheaper somewhere else. Threads like this make me less likely to ever order from them.

LOL When saying that ET has better CS than Quadratech, I would think the people at QT should be pretty worried. ET has always been known to have horrible CS.

The COVID excuse is total BS ... I suspect they are still trying to operate remote with most of their CS reps. If you don't have your sh*t together it doesn't work ... racing to the bottom along with Oracle!

I’m giving them until close of business tomorrow to respond. Unfortunately, since the order doesn’t even show up in My Orders online, I can’t cancel it, and I’m not going to sit on hold for hours to talk to a CS person. We’ll just call AMEX and tell them to cancel payment and let Quadratec figure it out. @Quadratec, take note-- I'll refer to AMEX and let them deal with it!

Exactly I have almost always found same item way cheaper and often with free shipping. Either through another vendor, etc. I try to stay away from Amazon unless I feel good that its coming from a good source cause Amazon has a lot of crackpots selling trash on the site

Quadratec used to be decent, they used to have forum discounts and no sales tax. Then (and maybe not fully their fault) but sales tax was charged and they would not budge on that, getting their forum discounts became more difficult with longer wait times via pm's etc and boom a bit later the pandemic hit, then they went to hell. Understandable at first as all companies suffered, but as the pandemic went on they stayed the same - almost impossible to get customer service and just the quality is gone. Another example of a company who got too big and profits come first before costumers.

they got a lot of money from me over the years, but now it goes elsewhere.

sadly I can't trust them anymore, many better Independent vendors out there who actually appreciate me as a customer.

it's pretty bad when I trust amazon more to deliver me products.

I hate to pile on, but I need to add an amen to this. I had an issue with a Mopar sun bonnet I ordered, and the customer service experience at @Quadratec was extremely poor. Hours on hold, promises of help that never came, and weeks of silence in spite of calls and emails.

Oddly, the one rep I talked with was very understanding and promised quick action, even gave me his direct contact info. He just immediately disappeared. Weeks after I gave up another rep emailed me, apologized, and promised to resolve the isssue. Then she disappeared too. It’s been weeks more now and total silence.

I think somewhere in there they’re trying to survive, but either Covid or a catastrophic system overhaul has effectively paralyzed them. It’s a shame. I’ve used them as a fairly reliable option for years, but I think we might be watching an industry giant burn out. Either that, or their business model has switched to complete predatory mode. I’d hate to think it’s the latter.
