Since I erroneously posted what I did WITH my JT and came back with I scratched the bed, here is now one week later:

Rub rails from CL
Knock off bumper from EBay. It’s ok.
mopar JT speed steelies.
goodyear ulterrain at 285/70

i have a 1.5 terra flex spacer lift waiting to be picked up and I’ll see if I do a 3/4 in the back. Looking for a decent winch and going with a warm mount instead of that Chinese one that came with that bumper. LED rounds on the brush guard and that’s it really. Keeping it overlanding. Oh, lockers. At this time no plan to rehear since I went 285’s. And rack later on. I’d like to do a set of rubi fenders but it’s not a must.
Looking good. I'm doing much the same build (though still in the process of figuring out a bumper and winch setup). Nice to see another truck with the steelies on it.

Further demodification.......... last week I picked one of the cooler days (only got to 98 in the garage) and demodified the front suspension.

Today, demodifying the interior, removing the added cubbies and storage things, will be removing the sun shade (which requires removing roof and folding windshield down) and a few other odds and ends.

After putting the stock lower control arms back and removing the light/soft version of the Rubicon front springs and the Daystar 3/4" spacers - oops, nearly forgot. So adjusted this back to straight again.

I read your build link. It sure as heck sounds like you and I have the same purpose in mind with the gladiator

Thanks,
Several websites say they are not compatible or they don't say either way. I think It's because the manufacturer does not send the fitment information including the JTRD over to them saying that it is , so they list it compatible with the gas JT. So what happens when you put it in your cart... it says it's not compatible. Thank you again, for confirming.

Installed the @TeraFlex Uinta Track System Hi Lift jack mount kit. Basically reutilize two of the standard Unita pucks and mount the brackets to them. Mounts pretty solid.

Pictured is with the HF Badlands Hi Lift clone jack.

i installed the rough country quad light with DRLs this morning. took a couple hours because I am OCD! the DRLs run off aux 3 and full lights off Aux 4. The real fun was running 4 blue wires stepping down to eventually one aux and 4 white wires to eventually one aux. I kept the 4 ground wires separate for safety and attached them individually. it took 3 blue butt connector each color side to make it clean and linear. Works perfectly. waaaaaaaaay bright!!

Little behind posting. Installed factory receiver hitch about 6weeks ago. Installed front and rear Alien Shades today. Disappointed that Stellantis cuts cost by leaving off the receiver hitch. The replacement is the same bracket as what came off just add the receiver portion. Very happy with the Alien shade. Went with the 2 piece so I can remove the back when not needed. I had the full Spiderweb shade on my JLU and at times wanted the back off so tried this. Simple install and seems to be good quality.

What do you mean cut costs by leaving off the receiver hitch?
It's on any Gladiator with the optional tow package.
If you didn't order a tow package, you don't get the receiver. Like any other truck (for the most part)

That "bracket" is what you'd put a bumper-mounted ball on for light duty towing. (because the bumper alone won't cut it)

They didn't cut costs - that truck doesn't have the tow package.
