Thanks! It's not my first offroader, but my first Jeep. Loving it so far! Went down the road of quads and a UTV. Nice being street legal again to explore the state parks!

About to dump the current sliders and go to the electric step option.
I have the rock slide engineering steps. Best decision ever. With the armor, they’ll handle the weight of the jeep without issue. I’ve smashed them over and over, and they always work perfectly when I get back to the trailhead.

Welp, I broke it :headbang:
Was going to pick up a friend from the airport in stop n go rush hour, started feeling some shuddering. Road didn’t seem that bumpy? When I started driving again shuddering got instantly worse then passenger rear wheel locked up.
Luckily I was right in front of an exit median so got another ten feet forward dragging the tire.
When I looked underneath, I saw the bottom caliper bolt had come out, and the caliper pivoted down and got wedged by the rotation of the wheel.
IMG_6791.jpeg

Shifted the dust shield forward. Can’t tell if it bent the hub. Ground a groove into the inside of the wheel.

did you know front sway bar bolts are same thread?
I still had my old ones sitting in my toolbox, so I was able to make a quick “trail” repair so I could at least get off the highway.
Could hear on and off grinding and my tire slowly lost pressure.

want to guess what all will be broken? Just a bent brake caliper + I’m guessing the wheels since it’s leaking. Will the hub be bent? Will the whole axle be bent/trashed?
Front - 144 (21mm socket)
Rear - 92 (18mm socket)

Those are the ones that I am looking at....did you install? Looks intimidating with all the bits and bobs...sensors and what not.

Also did you get the lights?

I did do the install. You’ll be ok. Feel free to call anytime and I’ll let you know what things I learned that can save you time and frustration. I do have the lights. The lights have failed a couple of times, but they replaced them no questions asked. Their support is second to none. The sensors aren’t hard. Knowing where to stick the magnets is the deal. They make it easy, and I can show you on mine exactly where they are. I even retro fitted my front soft doors with magnets, so I can use the steps with soft doors.

Is it hard wired or are you connecting through usb/cigarette lighter? I think I might give this a try.
Not the OP but when I installed mine, which is mounted directly above my rear view mirror, I ran the wires up and under the panel above the mirror. Then ran it to the passenger side and down the column and behind all of the panels down behind the kick panel to the auxiliary wires under the dash on the passenger side. I was able to connect to both the ignition wire and hot wire. Mine is motion activated when the truck is off. Also I ran the wire for the rear camera under and through the plastic molding down the passenger side on the roll bar. Everything is tucked away nicely with no wires visible.

Installed the Quadratec Pre-Runner LED Light Kit for 20-24 Jeep Gladiator JT.

Not too bad of an install. It required the first (of what will likely be many) removal and reinstallation of my front grill and drivers side fender liner but the harness (shown below) that was included made the fender liner removal worth it.

I like the look and these were on sale for like $32.50 last week. Can't beat that for a nice lighting mod.

Thanks for the tip! I might use your routing of cables method. Do you mind sharing how it looks mounted to your rear view mirror? For me I mainly want to use it in the event of a accident. Maybe down the line I might actually do the motion detection. You can dm me if you want.

I can get more pictures after work this afternoon from a different angle if you would like but on page 1726 and post #25,883 I posted a couple of pictures. Let me know if you need more inside or out. It's not mounted to the mirror just right behind it

NAH that only got the wheel. Had a guy in his EVO 9 lose a caliper bolt. ate right through his Advan GT wheels. split it clean in half. but the rest of the car was fine. no bent spindle, busted, or snapped CV. So I imagine your solid axle is A ok.

I removed my center console so I could retrieve my key from under it.

I think there is a monster that lives under the center console. Seems to feed on keys, credit cards and loose change.

i installed this product on mine yesterday! a year ago i put on the bolt hood lock. there is enough room above the the cutout in the new grill section to insert the center light. in true form i, broke the red plastic lock on the oem socket and scratched the daylights out of my forearm on this finger of death!
