Come to Iowa in July and August and enjoy the dew points that beat out Florida. Last year we beat Florida's record for water in the air.
This year it's "dangerous UV" warnings. Oh, for some of that Canadian smoke in the air to filter the sun like we had last summer.

Sounds like you need a vacation, come to Florida and help me install the leveling kit and I will buy you a Grouper sandwich and show my sand pile.

I asked him about his speech on Mopar (only) parts and he deflected off of that
Maybe it's the combative part of me, but I don't think I would have let that one slide quite so easily.

Being that most dealerships are billing close to 150.00 hr, that estimate doesn't completely shock me. Installing the spacers is the easy part ... it's re-torquing the control arms on the floor that is the PIA.

I hope the cats haven't been "playing in" that sand pile.........

We were actually thinking of visiting my son and his family in St. Augustine this summer but the fuel prices (and the new JT order being up in the air timing-wise) may thwart those plans.

So I'll probably be enjoying the 100% humidity and dew points in the 90s here, this summer. Bummer.

The lowers are easy with extensions. You can stand by the truck and torque the rear of the lowers pretty easily. The uppers, that's another story.

That quote is very very high, perhaps the staff member you spoke with was also very high!
I just had the 1 inch Teraflex spacer installed in the front of my Mojave and a 3/4 inch rear. Parts and labour (2hrs for both ends) was just over $400 Canadian bucks, so that’s like $300 usd.

Hopefully there are some ppl in your area that can point you to the right shop. Source the spacers yourself for the best price.

Just did my Mojave two days ago. Rear about 45 mins for .75” daystars and 1.5hr front with .5” teraflex. So under 2.5 hours total.

I plan to level the front of my Willys as soon as I get it. @WetWilly - I will be driving my parents back down in October. They are about 20 minutes south of you. Hit me up in late summer and I will do the wrenching for you. You provide the OFF. I hate those noseeums.

So I went to our local 4x4 shop in my area, I was less than impressed with the staff or the appearance of the shop. So I decided I would just go and see what the dealer says where I bought it.
I told the service desk jockey that I had interest in getting a front leveling kit done, and I had been looking at Teraflex 1 inch leveling kit. He instantly went into this Mopar parts speech and nothing but Mopar would work.. I told him I had owned many Jeeps, but ok just get me an estimate together. He said he would and would call me as soon as he had the estimate together.
A week and a half went by and he called while I was out, instead of leaving a detailed estimate, he left a number to call back. Then it was phone tag for a few days.
When I finally talked to him, he said $ 800.00 for parts and labor, (spring spacers and bumps stops) and that he would have to order the parts
and he said they were aftermarket parts, I asked him about his speech on Mopar (only) parts and he deflected off of that and moved on to scheduling . My question is does that seem like a normal dealer deal ? I know the Teraflex kit is around $110.00 bucks and I would think an equipped service dept about 3-4 hour max labor.
Any of you have quotes you received from a Dodge dealer for the same job ? I have gotten to old to wrestle with lift kits, and have considered just doing it myself, I have all of the equipment needed and the experience. I have just gotten lazy in my old age.
I bought a Terraflex 1.5“ leveling kit and had Trick Trucks install It. The counter guy said it would take 3 to 4 hours to install it. I told him, it would take me about that long and if it took them that long, I’d look elsewhere for the service. Took about 1.5 hours for installation and alignment and I paid $380. Your price quote seems alarmingly high.

I did the 4 springs, 4 shocks on mine in the time they are quoting, and I had to carry the tools from my shop 150' to my garage, wheel a jack from shop to garage, among other tools and supplies, then put it all back again. And I was working in a garage that is not well lit at all. If I can do it on a ugly garage floor, half in the dark, and my time includes carrying the tools and jacks by hand from shop to garage - what the heck are they doing? They have everything in the same building, they have lifts and stands and whatever sitting right there.
