My Gladiator Rubicon has the 115v outlet in the bed as well as the one in the cab. Do I have one inverter for both or one for each?

Per the owner's manual it's one inverter for both, so the 400W max is shared between the outlets.

Pretty sure is under the steering column behind the removable reinforcement plate that is just behind the lower dash bezel.

Yep, it's under there. I saw it while wiring in my Redarc brake controller. Quadratec has a video showing the install of the billion dollar Alpine system, and they take it and the cold weather module out as part of the install. You can see it pretty well in their video.

Resurrecting this thread. The Mojave I have reserved has 115v in the cab but not at the bed. Anyone know if the 115v bed outlet can be added after the fact?

There are some threads, it can be done, but it requires some work. Check the Uconnect and DIY sections.

If you need more than 400 watts of AC power, look at getting a separate inverter for the bed outlet.

Thanks.

I did find another thread with details. About $221 in parts and Tazer to enable the switch.

The harness is in place with a connector under the bed. The parts include the pigtail that connects to it and the outlet.

400 watts is puny and likely not pure sine either but still its can be handy.
