Do you need them with a 2" lift no, but they do improve the ride especially on the highway. I drove for a month without the geo brackets before installing them and to me it was a significant change. I used the Rancho geo brackets as they are much cheaper and beefier in my opinion.
I, too, installed the Rancho GCBs and chose them for the same reason of it being thicker steel. They were combined with the Mopar lift. I bought the individual pieces, since I knew I wasn’t going to use the LCAs and I didn’t want the shocks. I’ve been very pleased with the setup.

AEV spacer lift with geo brackets. Great budget alternative. I'm eager to ditch it though along with the crappy Fox stuff.

With a 2" spacer I would skip the brackets.

Buuuut that said.

If you're overlanding, or going to load your rig up. I would just go right to the DualSport 2.5" kit.

https://www.aev-conversions.com/product/jt-2-5-dualsport-rt-suspension/

I get it, it's more $ than the spacers and brackets, but it's the same work (basically) to put the kit in vs the spacers. You're spending close to $900 for the spacer and brackets anyway.... You'll gain more lift, BETTER load capacity better (ok arguably) shocks.

Annnd lets face it in 9 months when you want more lift or are dealing with rear end sag you're going to want to do it then any way.
Just in case other people miss this:

OP doesn't have a Mojave but in case a Mojave brah is reading....

Thanks everybody for the tips and advice! I wound up going with AEV 2" spacers, geo brackets and upgraded steering stabilizer! I guess I have to decide whether or not I wanna go 35’s or 37’s

Thanks for clarifying that! With so many options it is easy to miss some critical information like that!

So from what I'm reading. If you are going with the AEV 2inch spacer lift and you had to choose between geometry correction brackets or an adjustable track bar, the track bar is the better choice. Does that sound right?

You could save a bit of money and go with mopar lift kit lower control arms, probably cost you about $45 each. then also get the trackbar! That said the brackets will have more positive effect on highway driving vs the mopar arms. i run the mopar lower arms with a 1.5 spacer on my mojave and have run the brackets on past jeeps

The geometry correction brackets fix caster and the track bar centers the axle. Both are important, but you can more easily get by with an off center axle than you can with caster that is too low.

I bought mine with 35s but knew I would go to 37s when the 35s wore enough. Found a smokin' deal on a set of 5 37s. So, within a month it had 37s on OEM Overland wheels. A couple months later I got new set of wheels... happy now
Take it from my experience 37s look right on the JTs.
First pic from the dealer 35z, second pic 37s on OEM wheels, 3rd pic now

Geometry brackets to help with the drivability, but don't discount the front adjustable track bar. Centers the axels up and for me I wanted everything set up as right as I could with mine being my daily driver. I did also get a Clayton rear adjustable track bar to be able to fit my full size 37" spare.

Looks absolutely awesome! I have 4.10’s and will be towing our boat about 3 times a year. I’m thinking I should be fine. Any thoughts?

Track bar does something completely different. It addresses the side to side adjustment and really is optional at the 2“ level. The geo brackets adjust and correct the caster (think front to back) rather than the side to side position of the axle.

I've lived with every configuration. You honestly don't need either. And I've had a Jeep with one and without the other and with both. They were all fine.

That said, I prefer both, but it is not a huge difference. The track bar was more for visually centering the axle because I'm picky about detail. The Geo brackets make for slightly less jolts on highway bumps and they do adjust caster perfectly.

You could ease the strain on the wallet by doing one at a time.

I know a very inexpensive option for the adjustable track bar that is VERY strong and very good. I ran a front one on my JKUR, rear version on my JLUR, and front on my Gladiator. I put an expensive Rancho on the front of my JLUR, and it is great, but the cheaper one is every bit as effective and can be adjusted while fully mounted and tightened. The Rancho can't. I ran the JKUR version for over 60k miles with zero issues and the rear version on the JLUR for over 90,000 miles. It is Rough Country. They aren't highly respected, but this part is rock solid with good bushings. Two of the three I have had are generic no-names, but the exact same track bar. I think I paid $130 for the last two. (Pre-Bidinflation prices). Anyway, they held up so well that I went with it for the front on the Gladiator.
