Looks like the new steel bumper is added to the JT as an option, but no winch? is that right?

I didn't see any mention of a winch. If there were I think I'd still opt for just a winch-ready steel bumper and add my own later. The winch-installed bumper on the '24 Wrangler has some walrus teef.

I'm too old and in too poor of health to get a newer Gladiator (even if they had done any newer improvements that were worth a damn), but in retrospect I would've liked a Gobi colored Mohave with a 392 in it AND a smaller keyfob to boot. I'll stick with the Gobi Overland I have, and if I get to where I can't drive, I'll just sell it.

Do the new seats only cater to midgets like the current seats do? What is the seat height at the lowest setting?

Probably a year after they put it into the Wrangler. I.e. likely 2028.

If the Gladiator isn't discontinued. The only reason they did a mid-run refresh was because using the same parts as the Wrangler gives massive economies of scale. Given the modest sales of the Gladiator, around 75,000 per year and declining, and the fact that the factory the Gladiator is built in has a capacity of 150,000 units per year thus is only half utilized, they might decide to make use of the factory to build some other model in higher demand.

I understand. My wife told me the same thing. Only thing is I thought not too long ago about trading in my Gladiator for a Dodge TRX. And then she brought me back down to earth, ha. Maybe in the afterlife, right LOL.

Then just wait for the 25 to see if it gets new motor. That might be the only thing to make me trade in my 2020 depending on how many 1st born children they will want for the truck and maybe some more cushion on them front seats

Unfortunately our towing capacity isn’t axle limited, it’s cooling limited. Even with the full float they can’t get around that we don’t have enough cooling power to tow more.

Jeep says that the Gladiator now can tow up to 7,700 lbs. Is that increase due purely to better airflow? The new grill?

I am just curious if that is all that they changed on it. The increase is >2,000 lbs I believe.

Personal preferences aside, it’s unfortunate that you need to purchase the x package to get a painted hardtop.

looks like painted flares are available on lower trims but you also need to get the x package if you want them on a Rubicon/Mojave.

It actually is only a 50 lb increase over a standard Max Tow Sport S, which came in at 7650. But, possibly the grille made that difference.

They snuck that extra fifty pounds in a few months ago when the new Colorado was released (which can tow 7,700 pounds). Some time during the '23 model year. I remember seeing it on the website. I doubt they even did any testing on it. Probably just asked the engineers if another 50 pounds was good to go, did some math and said sure why not...
