This trim makes some sense. It brings back the overland.

Should have never got rid of the Overland in the first place back in 2024. Also, probably should have been called the Sahara from the start verses Overland.

Regardless, Sahara or Overland..... arguably the best trim for the value on many levels.

I've said it many times before I'd take my Overland with literally every package and creature comfort over a Rubi with cloth seats, plastic fenders, and halogen lights.

So they are taking a Sport S with the Premium Package and bundling it up and renaming it a Sahara.

Well, that simplifies that, at least.

So do all trims have rubicon/mojave fenders now? I noticed it first with the latest Willys, now with this Sahara trim.
Don't quote me but I think moving forward, most are included painted now at no additional costs. Not necessarily "high-lined" though like Rubicons/Mojaves. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong. But I believe thats what I read/heard somewhere recently.

They just need to add one more little bullet point to that list and I am in.
Being it needs a 392 Hemi V8 added to that list of contents. LOL

Looks interesting, but they need to offer Sahara Tan color option to the package! That was always my dream color.

So they brought back the High Altitude without a diesel engine option.

if you wanna look at it like that, but high altitudes also had gloss rims and paint matched bumpers, which in my opinion look hideous on any Jeep.

Yes, gloss rims, but mine came with the package that included black steel bumper and trail camera.

I was referring to what I like to call the "low tier/budget" Rubicons.

Sounds like you have a high tier one. But also the margin to get all that, is super high imo. So, you likely got raped in price or could simply afford it and likely not bothered by the high margin for such. I, unfortunately don't have it like that. That's why I mention the "value" factor.

Don't get me wrong, if I could have justified the extra 10-12k (when I purchased back in 21) I'd got a Rubi with the same features as my Overland. But considering I don't absolutely have to have disconnects and lockers, I couldn't justify paying an extra 10-12k for primarily those two main features I'd rarely use.
