Did you do any modifications to go to 37? I'm all for 37's, but don't want to go down the rabbit hole of having to make a bunch of adjustments to make them work properly. If I can slap them on with a minor lift and not have to worry about changing gearing etc.. I'd be all in.
I have a max tow & just went to 37's... Did re-gear, but not till I did lockers. Could of done without, but with the locker install they were already coming out so there was very little price difference in lockers vs lockers & gears.

watching this thread as it mirrors a question i have--concerned about safety, stability, steering play
The big debate. Kinda like testosterone treatment, cuts two weeks off your life span but your quality of life is through the roof.

My testosterone treatments have lead me to ditch the 35s and go with 37s. Since I don’t have as long to live, might as well get what I want.
My wife had a perfectly good diamond and insisted that after 20 years of dealing with me she deserved a much bigger one. Kinda the same thing, right?

Perspective is everything. I sometimes wish mine found a bigger ring to save me from the constant feeling of inadequacy. I will be buying 37’s when I use up my stock 33’s. Probably with a re gear to 4.88.

The picture of my jeep on 35s was from April and the picture with the 37s is from September. I kicked myself for not going with 37s to begin with. Someone got a good deal on a lightly used set of 35s. Lol

For anyone else that also regrets getting 35's and wants to go up to 37's, if you purchased your 35's from Discount Tire, you can get a refund and not try to sell them yourself. Their policy is that if you are EVER not satisfied with your purchase, they will make it right. I told them I wasn't happy because my 35's were too small. They gave me credit of my full purchase minus a pro-rated amount for the 5300 miles driven over 4 months. I basically received a full refund minus 10% based on 5300 miles on a 50,000 tire and they swapped my 35" KO2's for 37" KO2's for $375 out of pocket. They also matched the current Mopar deal where you buy 3 and get the 4th for $1.. Warranty also moved from old to new tires. Just paid slight diff in cost..
Jeep Gladiator 35s or 37s? gladiator
I felt a little guilty for asking but they didn't seem to mind, wanted to keep me happy. I buy all my tires at Discount tire so they have made plenty of $ off me.

I just bought 35's last week instead of 37's. I have a 6 speed, and the larger tires made a big difference in power and braking to me. I'm glad I didn't go larger. It looks great with the 35's as well. Stock suspension.

How’s the ride on those MTR’s? I had them on a ram 2500 and loved them.

I went with 35s thinking they are considered big.
Now I find out 35s are so 2009, and 37s are what's big these days! Oh well, can't seem to keep up! I remember when my dad got 32s. I thought those were big!
Same for me. I had an 05 TJ I put a 2” lift on and 33s and they were huge. Now my JT came with 33s stock with a lot of room to spare. Kinda crazy.

Kidding. Its actually not that big a difference. IMO id say 35’s for a small lift on most models; 37’s if youre doing a suspension lift. Just remember in either case you’ll want to regear, and you only want to do that once.

here is my stock Mojave on 37’s next to a Rubicon on 35’s. Unknown mods on the Rubicon, it *looked* like a leveling kit. The 37” on my stock Mojave looks stupid IMO, but will be perfect when my lift shows up. If i was staying stock i would have gone 35’s.

I humbly disagree! The 37’s belong on the Mojave, but I do agree a small lift makes look that much better!
