Fits’ish haha! Nice, I like these tires but thought I’d have to stick to a non matching 37in spare. Thanks for this info!!

Not exactly the same but have a MT MTZ Legends 37x12.50 fit under my bed, 9" rim, hitch shave, heat shield removed, bent track bar and 15 psi in the spare.

Are you doing anything about heat shielding? Don't want to fry my spare tire on a regen cycle.

I was planning to do some clamp on heat shield mounts to the pipe with some pipe sectioned long ways as the shield.

I dont run a spare personally and its been a long time since my jeep did a regen ;)

you could lose the muffler without changing the sound at all and run some exhaust wrap pretty easily.

I tried getting one of my BFG KO2 37[36.5] but it's a no go with the factory receiver hitch. For now I have a 35 for a spare.

Oh yeah i forgot about your diet. 4-link should have been the clue.

i not a fan of wrap, I have had wrap rot out pipes and crack pipes before. But like the idea of chopping the resonator at the end if i can't get the shields to work .

My Nitto Ridge Grappler 38x11.50r17 measures 37.75" and has plenty of clearance from the pipe on the oem EcoDiesel exhaust.

I thought about header wrap tape but don't need it.

That is my situation as well. Maybe I am over thinking it, but was worried about blowing heat from the pipe on to the tire.

Which may have also been Jeep's concern as well since they went to the effort to install a heat shield for a smaller tire (33") with an even bigger air gap.

I just got back from my son's shop.

We swapped the rusted oem steelie for a Rubicon take off rim and the spare shows no sign of any heat issues after a 2 hour Highway drive yesterday.

That confirmed my decision not to heat tape the pipe.

The Baja boss A/T is 2” larger in diameter and fits fine at 27-30psi with no mods. Heat shield and hitch unchanged.

I’d recommend you perhaps try again … I’ve had 3 gladiators each with factory tow and 37” BFG KO2’s … 2 diesels and one gas. My first gas gladiator uses quadratec 17x8 wheels and the next was Mopar performance beadlock wheels and this current Jeep has the wrangler XR beadlock wheels.

Yep. And there’s no way a k02 is 36.5. They might be the smallest 37’s you can buy.
