After lifting my JTD about 4" I need larger tires (currently 35 KO2). I live in MN where the winter is cold and long. Having a tire that performs well in the snow is a top priority. My Jeep is for on-road and light offroad adventures so tires with good road manners would be nice.
I am not over the moon about the KO2s, they are a bitch to balance, snow performance isn't the best, and neither is wet performance. I am looking at the Falken A/T3W and Mickey Thompson Baja Boss A/T. I am interested in feedback running these tires and other similar options. I realize the mentioned tires are heavy, I do have lightweight wheels (~26lbs) to help offset the tire weight.
Thanks in advance.
