LONG highway trips. I'm talking 10 hours round trip.
Rolling down the same mountains I climbed.

15 or less around town.

18-19 would be a Christmas (am I still allowed to say that?) miracle.

I'm still doing great with mine on 37 12.5 17 Kanati Trail Hogs. Got about 4000 miles on them now and they are wearing great and We saw just over 18 mpg on the way to and from the beach and on the way to and from the Boone area of The NC mountains. Still getting between 17 to 17.4 around town and to and from work. That's about 50/50 Hwy/City driving. Like I stated on other post I let the Auto Stop/Start do it's thing, it's crazy how much Mpgs are affected by sitting idle. Mine as it currently sits. Stock 4.10 gears!

For the diesel side, using a gear/tire/rpm calculator, with a 8th gear ratio of .64 and 1% converter slip, using a 35 inch tire, the calculator says 76 mph at 2000 rpm with a 4.20 gear ratio. I normally see around 76-78 mph at 2000 rpm in 8th with stock tires (Willys), so for 35's a 4.10 would keep it in the same range as stock.

What’s the link to that calc? Its rough trying to dig for real info in all the regear threads.

@mrmo and @BlueScapegoat

Ty fellas. Its funny, i opened the both and instantly realized im out of depth haha
This is a quick and dirty one for easy calculations. You can pull transmission ratios out of the Jeep literature.

The GrimmJeeper one is king for detail but if you want to just figure out what RPM you crawl or cruise at then this is the one I use.
