I believe both batteries should be disconnected for the install. Others have reported that directly following the Mopar instructions can result in blown fuses. There are several fuses in the AUX wiring harness. If any of those are blown, the Uconnect update to enable the switches can fail.Question, I keep reading about blown fuses in the install; are people not disconnecting both batteries? It's my understanding that you have to disconnect the at least the NEG. terminal of the 2nd battery from the actual main battery NEG. terminal to drop all current from the system.
