So far the farthest I've had someone travel to the shop for a build was PHX Arizona, but I did have a client come from Minnesota last year while he was visiting the west coast.

I'm only 1,103 miles away. According to Google, I could be there in 16 hours and 35 minutes (assuming I didn't stop).
I laughed but CrazyCooter is 1,875 miles from me :crying: The 2.5 elite series I ordered before learning about Tony came in yesterday. After talking to him and reading through his tuning thread, mine will have to get to him by UPS. I'll install them tomorrow and see how they feel.

I've got a new 1.5" leveling kit with 1" and 1/2" pucks that I never used on my first JT. Am thinking about using the half inch to get a little more space. Any reason that would be a bad idea?

We would most likely make a trip out of it. We drove to Visalia, CA twice to have the Fuel Box installed in both trucks. According to Google, that's an estimated 11 hours 6 minutes (744 miles) assuming I don't stop.

Yeah, that's a long haul. We just got back from a 3,000-mile towing trip. Next week, we'll be leaving for another 3,000+ mile towing trip.

As long as I make CrazyCooter part of a trip, then I wouldn't hesitate making the trip. Otherwise, I'd be doing what you're doing.

I can't wait to hear the feedback!

I have no idea. I'm much more familiar with the Ram 1500 suspension than I am the Jeep. Since I plan to do some towing with the Gladiator, I need to make sure the OE springs can handle the weight. If CrazyCooter believes the OE springs are good, then I'll just install the 2.5 elite series and call it good. Since CrazyCooter tows a camper, then I feel comfortable taking his advice and letting him do any tuning/adjustments. I don't mind lifting the vehicle 1/2" above the factory Rubicon ride height, but I don't want to go any taller.

Holy cow! You couldn't find a fuel box dealer closer?

I signed up as a Fuel Box dealer a couple of years back because a client really wanted one, but he backed out because of the shipping charges!? Funny thing about that is that he is an LTL truck delivery driver?

Hopefully they work for you out of the box with that kind of investment! We're here if you need us!

Keep us posted on your impressions.

At the time, they didn't have many dealers. They now have a dealer in Albuquerque. Ironically, Fuel Box has since moved to northern Arkansas. My in-laws live on the Missouri/Arkansas border, so we travel to that part of the country fairly often. However, Rebecca said they no longer do installs since they now use dealers.

They are good tanks. I really like their fuel controller. I keep in touch with Rebecca Zylstra. She's now the brand manager for the Fuel Box.

You guys made me look. I'm only about a tank of diesel away from him.
I didn't need to know that, I'm sure it's gonna cost me some money eventually.
