The installation under the hood using the engine cover bracket is the easiest and cleanest install.

under hood ARB install

It took me less than 2 hours to complete the installation including the wiring and plumbing. And it's above the engine so no issues with water or dirt. And no removing the inner fender for access.

Thx for the love. Why buy a bracket when its free and this good? Wish the market would pool their resources and get ahead of the JT market. I got some other really cool stuff coming, especially if you like lockers and big shafts.

ARB single mounted behind the rear seat, passenger side, where the removable speaker would go. Air hose coupling next to the rear passenger seat. If you go this route do yourself a favor and remove the rear seat first for easier access.

Remove the speaker cubby (2 screws and some trim clips) and there is a stout metal bracket that just needed a small piece of steel plate to mount the compressor. Took positive and negative wires to the battery through a plug in the floor just inside the rear passenger door. Replaced the plug with a rubber grommet, sealed with liquid tape, and ran the wiring on top of the frame rail. There is a gap between the battery and the fender, away from the engine, to bring the wire up and connect to the battery. It’s a little longer run to the battery than the supplied ARB wiring so had to graft on a length of 8 ga wire. Very happy to not have to mess with the dreaded firewall penetration.

To power the relay I used the interior lead for the Aux3 switch The relay ground wire went to a ground bolt on the body to the rear of the rear passenger door behind the plastic trim.

Hose coupling by the rear passenger seat is all you see when it’s buttoned up.

I'm sure they do, although if you can't find one I bet you could have one made at a place that specializes in hoses (air, hydraulic, etc). Or just buy two of the regular hoses and hook them together.

Have you considered making a twin ARB mount bracket for under the hood in the same location that we have been mounting the single ARB.
Looking at some options, it's so tight in there its hard to do without relocating some items.

How is it doing with the heat so far?
I mounted in the same position, also added a 1 gallon auxiliary tank under the brake booster. No issues with heat. But the hood lining touches the pump a little.

I went with the ACM mount for the HO Single. Cab was a non starter for me as everyplace to mount it I use for storage. The Engine cover mount I considered, but as I am using this for Lockers I figured this would be the better location for running the air lines to the diff's. I then ran a remote air outlet almost straight up using a half meter hose & the ARB bracket, just cut down to better suit the location. With it I will have to have the hood open to air the tires, but that was by design as it will also mean the heat has a good place to escape. It even tucked nicely behind the not at all space efficient ACE inner fender.

I went with the Grimm Mount for the twin ARB. over the past few months, I had been doing my research and decided on the Grimm mount because of where the ARB compressor was mounted and the fact the the air filter was located even with the top of the motor. the instructions call for you to take off the entire left fender flair. I did not do this, I just took off the inner fender and it worked great. it is sad that Jeep stands for just empty every pocket.

Are you powering that from the Gladiator's 110v outlets or did you do your own wiring from an inverter and battery?
Powering from factory 110 volt outlet in bed.
