honestly, I’m not a fan of the auto-park bug/feature. I may have to look around on the forums and see if there is a way to delete that nonsense. No way do I want some electronic gizmo to slam my tranny into park while moving… that just seems like a good way to take 1 mechanical defect and turn it into some way-worse mechanical defect.

You can buy short seat belt extenders that stay plugged in when the seatbelt is disconnected so the system will still detect a connected seatbelt. It's been discussed on the wrangler forum.

That, along with taxer, 4-low, and/or temporarily disconnecting the wiring harness for the drivers side door. Or, my personal favorite, no doors at all. ;-)

The magic smoke is what makes all electronics work. When contained within the electronics, it performs miniature miracles. Once that smoke is let out, though, it won't work anymore. Nobody knows how or why the smoke makes it all work, all we know is that it does.

I had a similiar situation months ago and as it turned out, it was a ground wire that came off. Thanks to vehicle computer,, it caused all sorts of temporary havoc

Honestly, I'd be ok with the Auto Stop, if it wasn't so friggen quick to activate. If I'm sitting still for 10 seconds or something, fine.. but I can't tell you how much I hate the fact that it turns itself off the moment I come to a stop in my driveway, and am reaching down to put it into park.

Pull in... stop, reach down for park.. BOOM!!! Engine shuts off. I put it into park, it turns itself back on, just in time for me to turn it off again...

Drives. Me. Crazy.

The specific ones I bought on the jungle website are no longer available, hence why I just went and grabbed one to measure it. Just search for these dimensions and you'll be good.

I bought the shortest overall length ones I could find. I really don't even notice them anymore. For me, they actually help a bit, as I don't have to shove the belt so far down to engage. Works great.

exactly, or if the stinking thing would remember the setting. I work 2 miles from home. It starts and stops at least 4 times in that distance. It's gotta be killing my engine's longevity
