I’m definitely interested in the xtrusion rack. I’ve had my x4 for almost a year now and have been planning to build a rack like that.

Talked with the guys that do the machining for the Extrusion Overland rack. This is the mounting bracket they are working on.i think they are waiting to get exact measurements from BAK industries on the exact measurements for everything before finishing up, but I gave them the ones I could get.

1. the lowest point closest to the tailgate has a small bolt that put the height around 16.5 in

2. On the hump to the tonneau is just shy of 17.5

I think I should have the rack in the next week or so. They were 3 to 4 weeks out on production from order and I think this is the third week.

I'll check with them, they had to have me put in a special code to do the order because it wasn't available on the website yet. I'm their tester for fitment.

I have the X4, but I don't think the t slot changed.

As long as you have the T slot you should be good. The X2 didn't have a slot, so they use the other mounts.

I'm looking at the order page but don't see the t-slot mounting option. What is it called? What height rack are you going with? I'm debating half height, just enough to clear the rolled up tonneau, or full height so I can put longer stuff up top.

And just to add a beauty pic of it installed and yet still being able to use the full bed, I do really like the cover!!

RCI makes an overland rack 12" or 18" and tonneau friendly brackets that work with that exact tonneau and allow full functionality. They've utilized it on several builds including their own Gator Overland Rig with Tent and every gadget imaginable connected.

You may see if you can utilize their brackets to adapt to your rails as a budget friendly option. They raise the mounts 3".
