Looks like you gained a few (needed) inches to clear the cab...what did you use for that?
I ended up stacking (2) Alucab Load bars on top of each other. I should have just used the load bar landing feet on the Rebel Rack then a load bar on top in retrospect. One load bar thickness is not enough though.

Hi, is it possible to get a pic looking at the overhang? I have a 72” on order from 23Zero and I am curious to see the overhang of a 62”

Thanks!!

I was a little worried about the fit of a 62in RTT, but it looks OK to me. I have a little over hang in the back though, not too bad. The hardware that came with it didn't work for me though. The attachment brackets weren't long enough for Rebel cross beams. Luckily though, Rebel makes sure there are lots of screw holes or attachment points. I just cut the ends off the brackets, as it's good thick steel, and used their bolts n' nuts to attach directly to the cross beams. So it's secured at 6 points instead of just four. The Rebel rack has three heavy duty cross beams that came in handy for me today.

Thanks so much!

Quick question for you; I have the JCR Bed Rack, which, other than front and back, does not have Left to Right cross bars, only Front to Back.

Are the rails provided by 23Zero long enough where I could attach to the Front/Rear bar or do I need to invest in new cross bars?

The rails go almost to the edge of the tent floor. You shouldn't have a problem. There is a tad under an inch of space between rail end and tent floor end.

My finger is showing the end of the rail and the aluminum strip is the end of the tent floor, this is at the rear of the bed.

The other shot is at the front of the bed, cab side. Here, it might be a little tricky, depending on your JCR rack. Spacing is tighter. You want enough space so the cover falls in easily. You don't want to be climbing into the bed and wrestling with the cover. Luckily, my rack rail came with lots of holes in it and I didn't have to drill holes. You can see, if you look closely, the tent rail sits half way on the rack rail, enough to support and get a bolt through it.

This is great. I think we should be OK. The JCR rack has plenty of places for bolts/screws as shown below.

So I have finally gotten my rack parts painted, and my Roof Top Tent arrived, and it's all now put together.

In sum, I have:
1) Ace Engineering Upper Decker
2) Custom Camping Concepts Towers and Bars
3) Welded plates on the Towers that bolt to the Upper Decker
4) Front Runner Rooftop Tent and Annex

It all works great. My only issue overall is that the Upper Decker will no longer stay up all on its own, due to the total weight. I can open it, but I'll need to get something to hold it open if I need it that way temporarily.

All in all, though, I am very happy with the set-up. Driving at speed shows little noise, even with my Bestop sunrider open. Pleny of space in the bed (under the Upper Decker) and on top of the Decker (under the tent). Pleny of visibility out of the back window.

Now just to get out camping!

Just upped my game over the last 4 weeks.

Rebel Off Road 1/2 rack
CVT Tent and Annex (used from friend, gotta Bro-deal )
Love it all.

Definitely like the planted feel that the Gladiator has going down the road. Lost about 2 MPG with both tent and rack.

So I mounted up the Full rack and I ordered the bike rack attatchments. No instructions... Have any of you mounted their bike rack?"

Going back and forth between the full and half rack. I like that the half rack doesn’t change the height profile of the vehicle but am concerned about reduced vision out the back window, not that there’s much to begin with. Do you find the half rack to be an issue in that regards?

I hear ya did the same...it is a reduced vision from the top of rear window. You still can see what’s directly behind you maybe 2 car lengths back.

I really didn’t want the top heaviness to weigh in on the drive ability...pun intended:)

the added weight over the rear is very welcomed, she is so planted now driving down the highway.

good luck!!

Rebel has been good to work with, very responsive.
