At least bigger tires provide multiple benefits: they look better, ground clearance is better, traction is better.
Sure, but the vehicle is completely functional without it. Cost of tires is double the cost of an intake and costs you more every time you drive. So they’re both mostly a giant waste of money.

I just bought the CAI kit, but not sure what to do about the RUBICON sticker if I cut the hood. I don't like the attached look...

"RUBI" would be cool

unless you want to take the bottom end of the "R"off and the remainder of the "O" and have "PUBIC" on one side and a genuine full "PUBICON" on the other side

Than get ya an intake! ? I was only being half serious anyways, intakes are a waste of money. But most things are, if they bring you happiness who cares. If money mattered, we’d all be driving Honda civics.

Looking at a High Alt online that has a factory installed CAI. What benefit does that provide, if any? I could see it maybe on a Mustang GT but a Gladiator? Thanks
In "theory" power, but really, just sound because the stock intakes are so quiet now. The Mopar CAI is the quietest version, but still a little louder than stock. Some of us just like to hear the engine when we mash the pedal under load, so I went with this.... it's louder than the Mopar, but still fine for daily driving. But puts a smile on my face every time haha

Is the sound overbearing at all? I heard the Banks was quite loud. Do you also have an aftermarket exhaust paired with it? Thanks

Nice. I was going back and forth between the Mopar and the K&N 63. I really think the K&N is one of the "cleanest" looking intakes available

Notice a difference in both sound and performance or just sound? I’ve been thinking about the banks or Mopar for my truck.

I think i could feel a low-rpm throttle response difference with just a k&n filter. The OEM filter has a lot of surface area, but man it is dense like cardboard.

The k&n filter paired with the borla s-type installed this weekend seems to perform pretty well at low rpm / cruise and seems to have a small mpg bump so far

have the mopar intake ordered, and think the cold air plus k&n filter plus intake tube size and borla will see some really nice throttle response, sound, and mpg. If not, hey the easter egg airbox is worth it, right?:CWL:
