Warning using Redline Water Weter. It is not compatible with OEM coolant. It left some brown oily residence from the silicone in it. Thank fully it is not harmful and now is a good time to switch to the Zerex HD https://shop.valvolineglobal.com/pr...Ajw3xckWNe_Ds0iMXLXWmZPVJgHRoqWtciqV6JP31i7Ao
It shows 10years or 1M miles hehe. I use Acustrip to test PH and the OEM coolant has been shown to turn acidic and drop to 7PH and below in a short period of time and use.
Something of interest is that use deionized water rather then distilled water. After looking into it, distilled water can leach and break down metals. I did have a DI wash with carbon filter in my garage for washing cars. That would be easy to use for a flush.
Im going to use Amsoil Boost Cool as well. It says it can pull heat from metal surfaces but also warm up faster?
