I've seen the option in Jscan but don't beleive you can with a Tazer

You install Jscan on your phone and if I remember correctly it was around $30 for a license. https://jscan.net/ You will also need an OBD bluetooth adapter and the Jscan site has a list of compatible adapters. My bypass cable came from Amazon but I don't use it now because a Tazer bypasses the secutiry gateway.Could one of you send me a link to the Jscan that y’all are using?

My guess is that it's not exactly Vin specific, but model specific. The EcoDiesel was in the Wrangler, Gladiator, Grand Cherokee, Ram 1500 and RamMaster van. They all could have different DPF because of the different packaging sizes required.What I do not understand is how is this part "VIN" specific? Because of that, there is a delay of 7-10 business days to get the part.
I hear that happens with age...Just had my own DEF failure.
The damned spout wouldn't seal properly and now I have white crust all over my fender, rear tire, and shoe.

Service Advisor said that many parts are VIN specific. Seemed odd to me. I get that it might be Gladiator specific, but VIN? I know the Hellcats and like you would have to provide a VIN to get a badge, but DPF seems odd. I found another forum post and they sourced it from another dealer. A lot of these service advisors only know what the computer tells them, otherwise, I don't think they really have a clue. Common sense tells me that all Wranglers and Gladiators share the same DPF. The only difference in the exhaust routing since the Gladiator has a longer wheelbase. Jeep is obviously going to save as much money as they can by keeping the same emissions hardware between both platforms and through all trim levels.Service Advisor said that many parts are VIN specific. Dealer doesn't want to pay shipping. So it's probably on the regular truck that comes once a week.Wonder why the delay in getting it? Seems readily available.
