But the Gladiator doesn't even show 230 as a max temp in the red. Anybody who owns one knows that.
I’m not sure where the confusion is here. I don’t think we are following each other for whatever reason so I’ll clear it up.

I know what the temp gauge says in a Gladiator

I know what a temp gauge says in a Ram 1500

The confusion with me started because you made a statement about a truck that was actually about a model different than a gladiator. That wasn’t made clear in the post.

We good. Not sure why this is a big deal.

The way you wrote it could easily be interpreted as YOUR personal limit, not the vehicles.

Remember, no one can tell the tone of your post, so you have to help everyone out by making that part clear.

It's a very common problem with texts, or emails etc.

We only get the words, not the facial expressions, or the tone of voice.

He will find out that the pan was better than the fire. Wait till he gets a nice G.M. engine, maybe turbo charged, also a nice 10 speed junk G.M. auto trany.Loads of problems with both.
I just traded a 22 lifted Silerado RST with 18k + miles on it after having the warranty work done. Right side lifters collapsed. Had 2 other warranty electrical issues repaired as well. Hopefully I won't have any issues with the Mojave.

I was worried after I got my 2023 JT, after reading all the horror stories about them. But a forum member pointed out , there is a lot more happy JT owners than one's with problems. Like most forums you will only sometimes hear the rants about a problem. I also realized a lot of problems they had was in changing the engineering specs from the factory. Also adding a ton of lighting like a moon rover. Drive your new JT and have fun.

Will do! Thanks Hunter! My primary use will not only be driving on the street on weekends when I'm not riding my motorsickle, but for hunting, scouting, camping and going to the lake. I already love the way this thing rides and handles compared to the Silverado I had!

That's what I use mine for, daily driver , osv surf fishing, and hunting. mine will never see rock climbing or real hard use. I'm 74 so I take it easy.

Although this may be true:

"And with the millions out there not suffering any mechanical issues at all - it's a safe bet............"

For those like myself with a 2022 JTR and less than 23k miles (always dealer serviced) that has had both intake camshafts replaced already, and had the MIL light come on yet again (when on vacation last week in Moab), the fact that other owners haven't suffered the same issues is cold comfort.

I'll be calling tomorrow to get an appointment at the dealership. Will update with what they find. Based on the "clackity clack", I'm expecting P0300 as the code.

I have 121,000 on my 2021 Gladiator and the tic is an ongoing problem. My three-year-old Jeep has a new 3.6 sitting in the garage. I have to change it. The big issue with this task is the amount of people who have the same issue. Jeep should be taking care of this issue and doing replacements.

My replacement cam has 3k miles on it now. I caught it very early as I’m sensitive to changes in sound.

It’s definitely early days and not scientific, but it was running great again this weekend and I was getting 19 MPG throughout CO on 37’s.

Fingers crossed I’m lucky and this resolves it.
