The coil springs we use in our kits are actually designed for an excellent on road driving experience, with the added ability of being able to handle excess weight. A lot of the times springs just focus on one or the other, and you get a kit your happy with but once you load it up, you're left with not so great results. We wanted to create something that is able to handle every aspect of what customers intend on using these trucks for so comfort-ability and load capacity were both important marks to hit when designing these kits!

It's also important to keep in mind, a lot of what factors into the comfort-ability of your ride, along with things like the feeling of excess body roll, are the shocks you use. A shock that is considered to be on the softer side might provide a more comfortable experience for some, but this does also allow for greater amounts of body roll vs maybe a more "performance" oriented shock, something some might consider on the stiffer side, would provide a maybe less comfortable driving experience for some, but would also help to mitigate extra body roll.

Of course with any amount of lift you are raising the center of gravity on these vehicles, so the feeling at first of going around turns and up and down bumps could definitely be a surprise to some in the beginning!
Please don’t take what I said to mean I am unhappy with the kit. I have been pushing ur lift to so many people as I get a lot of compliments on its looks. And I only wanted to by one kit one time and that was the reason why I chose it Clayton. Me and Adam have spoken many times about tweeking this and trying that to get geometry perfect. I wouldn’t change anything

Overland+ kits are shipping out about 3 weeks past order date due to high order volume. We're shipping on a first-come-first-serve basis at the moment so we definitely recommended getting orders placed if you think this is the kit you want, that way you are in line for when the next shipment of bushings arrive! Plus, if you need to cancel for any reason we can always refund you no problem at all!

how does it ride and flex?
It rides awesome. The beginning the springs felt stiff. It *FELT* like i was going to tip over at times. I emphasize the "felt" because it was no wear near it lol. After some flexing it was perfect.

Regarding flexing, only rubbed once it was right at the edge of the right DRL. (the American Adventure DRL fixed that). And note the I have the stock Rubicon Fenders.

how does the clayton kit ride compared to evo?
I went from a 2.5” EVO to a 3.5” Clayton and the ride is very similar. The rear seems to sag less towing with the Clayton though. My biggest ride improvement came from upgrading from stock shocks to Falcon adjustables.

I am in this exact situation. Do i do the 2.5 evo or 3.5 Clayton. Can you give me some insight on why you went from evo to clayton. Anything else you notice with the ride or flexing/off road?

My issues with EVO were with their bushings. I had multiple control arms and the front track bar bushings all fail within 1 year. I also wanted more height so was upgrading to a larger lift so wanted a company that had a strong reputation and had better bushings.

Thats great to hear. Im about to pull the trigger on a 3.5 setup. My only concern is i cant get Falcon 3.3 or 3.5s. They are back ordered for some time. Looks like my only option is falcon 3.1 or kings 2.5.

Do you have the adjustable shocks or the regular 3.1 with res? How do the digressive shocks feel to you?

im on Clayton’s 3.5 with evos front drop brackets. The 3.5 is more like a 4.5 lift.
So you feel the bumps a lot more when your on the trail. It made a huge improvement on the ride.

Clayton 2.5" Ride Right + with Mopar front LCAs, JKS disconnects, Rock Jock driveshaft spacer, Bilstein 5100 shocks and stabilizer. I also have a .5" front spring spacer to compensate for the bumper, skid plate and winch. I'm not sure if the spacer was necessary or not. I've got it set a 6* of positive caster and a little toe in. It drives very well! The Bilsteins are a bit firm, but help control body roll.

I gained 4.5" in the front of my Sport S Max Tow. My rear is about 1.1" taller than the front, which to me is great. I bet with towing it will drop an inch to two inches.

I had Rubicon LE front springs on originally and the gave me an inch of height in the front.

That's unfortunate on the shock availability, but I would wait it out to get what you want so you don't have to replace down the road. I have the adjustable with res and they are awesome. I use the adjustments quite a bit with soft for wheeling, about in the middle for day to day and stiff for towing. They feel very different at each setting. Sometimes when I want a super soft ride on a road trip I switch them out to soft and they smooth out the ride but when you take a corner in soft you feel the sway which doesnt feel great on back roads.
