That's cheap. The cheapest option I see now is 15/mo and that doesn't include the guardian (which to me is the whole point).

But wait...you cant adjust the seats? What about remote start? Or seeing the vehicle health reports? Is any of that on the new app?

if not it is a total waste
The remote functions and vehicle health reports are available in the new app.

So I'm supposed to have a free trial of Sirius Guarding with my new 2023 Sport, but after over a month, I seem to have no account and the dealer hasn't been able to help.

But it was never even made clear to me... just what does the app do? I understand the Assist and SOS functions, neither of which I care about. My base Sport doesn't have power door locks so it can't do that, I don't know if it can do remote start (nice to have but probably not worth the monthly fee after the trial expires), and I can keep track of my own maintenance without my phone sending me notifications. So is it even worth bothering with?
I like it ,IMHO yes worth it

The new Jeep app replaced the Uconnect app that had more functionality . The Jeep app basically just lets me start it with no options for heat or AC.

Call and ask if they have any specials. I got Guardian for 10/mo.

Well, I finally got an answer from Sirius... contrary to what the dealer told me, remote commands are NOT available on my vehicle. Thus, for me at least, Guardian is NOT worth bothering with, and I certainly won't be renewing it once the free trial ends. I don't need an app to tell me my odometer reading or how much gas I have or when to change my oil.

Sorry I'm late getting to this. As far as I know, Guardian is only available on the 8.4 head unit. If you have a Base Sport without power windows, I'm doubting you have the 8.4.

But for sake of the thread, worth it is subjective to user. It's nice to be able to start (if you already have factory remote start), unlock, and panic honk your horn from the app. Would be really useful in the dead of winter or peak of summer if you worked or lived some place where you didn't have line of sight with your keyfob from your home or office. Also allows you to track your vehicle, and it will notify your phone if the alarm is activated. Same concept as FordPass which as far as I know is free...so the 250 or 300 a year Sirius tried to charge me for this service when it expired on my 20 was highway robbery in my opinion, and I just didn't need it. Depending on your use case, might be worth it to some if you can't get to a window and see your truck to be able to start it without the FOB.

Now I have a new free trial on the 23. I use it occasionally because it's there, but no way in hades I'd pay for it, but again, that's my use case.

I think people are confusing Guardian with remote commands, which are part of the app. I definitely have Guardian on my base Sport (crank windows, no buttons on the key fob, 7" screen). Assist, SOS, health report, remote reading of odometer, tire pressure, fuel level, location, etc., are all available, but not any remote commands.

Of course, I wouldn't expect remote door locks since the required actuators aren't there, but I was under the [incorrect] impression that remote start and horn would be possible since they don't require any additional hardware, just programming-- the computer telling the engine to start from a remote command is no different from doing it in response to a button push. But apparently Jeep doesn't want to provide that programming unless you pay more for it.

If that's the case and you have no remote commands, I think it's worth even less to be paying Sirius for it.

One reason they won't allow Remote Start with manual door locks is part of the safety check includes locking the doors before it is started.
