Have a dealer that is clueless so far regarding the Launch Edition (they even asked if it was a sport or a sport S). Is the Tri-City dealer mentioned in here the dealer in Eden, North Carolina? I'm going to refer them to that dealer and have them ask for Travis for instructions on how to do this....

Ordered mine locally this morning. No issues.

I am interested as to when they might start shipping .
Hopefully our order status goes from pending to next stage by tomorrow. It that happens I think there will be a build week assigned to the order.

I don't know if that's how it had to happen, or they just told you that. I placed the order through tri-city and Jeep hadn't contacted me yet at that time. When they did reach out, they tried sending me to dealers in Miami.
I literally had the email they received, printed out in my hand... but you may be right, it may not have mattered... with the botched process up to this point who knows

No number till you see the dealer. Nothing is concrete until you sign and pay the deposit I believe!
My dealer placed the order since I dropped off my deposit yesterday, but we're both confused as to if this "concierge" has some sort of deny button that could affect an already placed order. I know you and I both had the advanced order email and got confirmation yesterday at 4pm ET of my information going through.

I just don't want my order being kicked back or anything just because a concierge person didn't check a box on some computer system.

Gladiator LE ordered and deposit paid. Not real sure I need the concierge. All they really did was call the dealership for me but glad they followed up as promised.

So does having the VON number mean that it is confirmed. Because I still don’t trust anyone in this thing.

The VON (vehicle order number) will be on your POC (priced order confirmation). It is not a guarantee of a vehicle. My dealer said that he has seen order get rejected for various reasons (lack of deposit, incorrect data entry, etc). Once your Priced Order Confirmation status is changed from a BA-pending order to a BX- order scheduled then you pretty much know your be getting one. At some point that status changes again and then the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) is added to your POC. Only then is it guaranteed you have an actual vehicle in process of fulfillment of your specific order. Hope this helps...

Also does anybody really think Jeep has systems in place to stop dealer ordering at a specific number. Who knows they might over sell the gladiator LE today and be canceling POC orders tomorrow.

I am glad I placed my order before 9 AM EST.

They won't sell 4190 of these. The rest will end up on dealer lots as part of their allotment.

I think you are 100% correct on that one.
Jeep executives are not idiots. They know most pre-ordered LE's will be sold at invoice or 1% under invoice. Once Gladiators and LE's hit the lot they will be sold at MSRP which is better for Jeep and their dealers.

If Gladiator sales are strong and sell out on dealer lots I could see Jeep holding back custom ordering even longer.
