I bought one of these when I bought my RSI SmartCap. It's bright, lasts a long time, and recharges with a USB cable. It's magnetic, so I just stick it to the bottom of the seat rail for quick access.

That looks like a Nebo that I have that's been rebranded.

I noticed that last night when I was searching Amazon for the Big Larry lights. The RSI light has the magnet built into the case, and doesn't have the hook or the clip.

And I know you were against Maglites but there is one 2 D Cell Maglite and one 5 D Cell Maglite both LED, both with window breaker caps and both with crenelated lens surrounds. One for me and one for my passenger.

Always have a nice quality headlamp in the console.

But beyond that the new led Maglites are pretty nice. Configurable button and operating modes...

Here's the mount I use

From Fishbone. Unfortunately I had to completely re bend how it attached to the roll bar, but I'm happy with the final shape. They were supposed to make an update and let me know, but they never did.

Happy with Maglite and brightness and battery life. Years without replacing batteries.

Head lamp > flashlight, if you’ve got to wrench on something. I keep one in my center console and one under the back seat.

If you have the molle panel behind the seats (I.e. JTR), a molle pouch can be handy. I’ve got one with a flashlight, multi-tool, etc. mounted behind the passenger seat that’s quick and easy to reach.

I have a couple of mounts that I like that are gladiator specific.

The quadratec seat mount is a super handy spot to keep a flashlight and the product works well. I modified it to hold a fire extinguisher so I can’t speak to the actual flashlight.

My actual flashlight is clipped on a JCR mole panel next to a multitool and sometimes my CCW. I have a bunch of Milwaukee rechargeable flashlights that kinda get rotated around but the pocket clip holds them secure on the panel. The pivot head one being my favorite due to the magnetic base. I find them cheap on marketplace often.

Any one in particular?
I'm a big fan of the Petzl Aktic Core - the "Core" is a USB lithium battery that sits in a 3xAAA tray, so you can charge it but still throw AAAs in if you ever need to. Expensive, light, compact backpacking-grade stuff, so I'm sure there are cheaper simpler options too. But I've had nothing but great experience with Petzl for decades. Everything else I try ends up not working when I need it

Honestly, I haven't used a flashlight for any reason in years. More often than not I need both hands when I'm using the flashlight. Here is my "flashlight" and holder solution:
Headlamps.webp

They are always there when I need them. One is 400 lumen (~10 yrs old) and the other is 300 Lumen (~5 yrs old). Right now I am using the battery powered versions because I bought these before USB headlamps were a thing (and before I had this vehicle). When one these dies, it will get replaced with a USB version. The other headrest looks the same with the wife's headlamp. Food for thought...

Cheers all!
