Missing engine cover for new models (2022)?

Anyone with a '22 model, did your engine come with a cover? If not, can you confirm if the engine bracket that holds the engine cover is there? I read another post that some did not come with a cover. That post also said they would be deleting the bracket that is there to hold the cover. Can anyone confirm if their's is missing? See photo attached

2022, no cover, but I have that bracket. Anything else needed for the cover to attach to, though?

Do me a favor, dont discontinue the ARB bracket kit until I can purchase one!

Mine came with both brackets that the cover needs, but without the cover, one nut and two grommets. The grommets go in the holes in the bracket near the firewall. The cover has two “pins” that go into the corresponding rear bracket holes and is held down at the front by the one nut that goes onto the unused bracket bolt in the 1st pic. Grommets and nut would be an easy find at a hardware store. I can try to take a couple pics tomorrow if you like?

I was lucky and was given everything from a forum member that removed his. You may ask as there seems to be a fair number of folks taking them off here.

I received this message from another Gladiator member.

I was just at the dealership and looked at a few 2022s. The Mojave (1) had the bracket but the sports (4) did not.

My 2021 has the cover and all that jazz, just wanted to get the plate on its way.

Update: There two T-30 bolts at the front of the cover (not a single nut as I mis-remembered). Although the grommets at the back of the cover are kinda bell shaped, I think more conventional grommets from a hardware store would be sufficient. Here’s the pics:

There are at least 2 other threads about this. FCA stopped using the covers with the MY22 builds.

I believe 813 Design is wondering if the brackets are still coming in case a ARB mount utilizes that front bracket. My money would be that the brackets won’t be coming much longer, why would Jeep spend the money on the rear bracket at all, front bracket does other things so there is where the real question of is that going to be staying on engine……Jack

PS: 813, ever look at making a MOLLE panel for behind rear seat, I have a machete, small ax, army shovel and other items that might fit there instead of under the seat. I have not looked to see how much room is there either.

Jeremy isn't concerned about the cover at all.

What Jeremy is concerned about is the forward bracket on the passenger side, his underhood ARB compressor mount utilizes this bracket.
