Brought this home yesterday, the Mojave did ok with no WDH and a tank and a half of water. RV place ia trying to order a WDH from the company that makes the fully articulating hookup that came with the trailer.

Looks Australian, tell us more about it.
OBI Dweller, New manufacturer in the US, but definitely takes cues from Black Series with a little more high end finishing touches. Holds 50+ gallons of fresh water in 2 tanks. 4797lbs dry weight, 5793 max weight. All the drawers and cabinets have button released latches, comes with 3x100watts solar, 3x100AH batteries, and a 2000watt inverter standard. Also has a 12' power awning and power step as base features.

Plenty of head room with the roof pop up, at 6'2 I have no risk of banging my head.

Debating on dumping the TV and replacing the DVD player with a hard drive full of music cause radio reception sucks.

Also trying to figure out a way to make it so I can run the AC without shore power or a generator.

What is the AC power requirements? Voltage, Amperage.

Nice set—up.

Wow! 4797lbs dry weight is surprisingly heavy with aluminum frame.

Very cool setup!

I'm not sure yet, need to look at it later. I know it will require a soft start at a minimum to keep it from overloading on start up.

I can't believe these types of campers cost as much as our JTs.

I think this one was within $1,000 of my Mojave.

Thanks. Looks very much like an Opus 15

Yea, it's just smaller than the Opus 15.

And the reason the kitchen slides out parallel to the trailer instead of perpendicular is because the AC unit and batteries are under the bed. So a little different layout.

May need a soft-start, but if your 3x100Ah batteries are lithium (and taking a WAG that your AC load would be about 1200w), your current setup should be able to run it for about 2.7 hours. Little longer if solar panels are adding watts to the system while the AC is running.

Super rough math:
3x100Ah x 12V = 3600 watt hours

Inverters are often only ~90% efficient converting DC to AC, so 3600Wh x .90 = 3240Wh.

3240Wh / 1200 watt load = 2.7 hour run time

If your batteries are lead-acid instead of lithium, the recommendation is not to run those below 50% charge, so that'd cut the Wh in half. 1620 Wh / 1200 watt loads = 1.35 hour run time

How does the gladiator do towing that weight? Seems a little lower than a regular box camper when the top is lowered. Less wind resistance?
