Terry, I'd welcome your assistance. I sent a note to the support team yesterday and told them I am having the turn light issue and it was installed on a JT with the LED package. They promptly replied and asked if I connected the resistors. I told them I didn't, since I have the LED package. They replied and asked if I had the LED package. I told them again that I have the LED package, and I haven't heard back. Any help that you can provide?
I'm sure Oracle will give you the support you need. I started with LEDs and had the bulb out message. I had a Tazer to reselect LEDs and followed by reboot and a couple of cycles. That took care of my issue.

I've had the Oracle flush mounts for over a year now. I have factory halogen heads and tails so I needed to use the resistor pack for each tail light. it's been working fine until back in December I noticed the driver side tail light was dark, but the reverse and the brake light work. The next time it started working again or would start working at some point on my way to work (I work nights).

I contacted Oracle and they responded the same day! Asking questions, try this, recon sorta stuff. We knew the driver side tail light worked, just not every time. Then I started noticing the driver side reverse light would blink while backing up. All the while I was in contact with Oracle support trying to figure this out.

So, I figured screw it, let me remove the resistor pack and go straight LED to see if that made a difference and wouldn't you know it did! I setup JScan to configure the rear tails/brake/reverse lights for LED. The problem has not happened again.

thanks. It looks like I got a mismatch set. One is dated 09/2023 and the other is dated 04/2022. Oracle is sending out a replacement for the older taillight that kicked out the error message. Unfortunately, they’re back ordered a few weeks, but that’s the way it goes.

Unfortunately, I appear to have the situation others are having with one faulty taillight. My driver side taillight and brake light are out, but the reverse light appears to work fine. Factory LED package. I swapped in my factory LED taillight, and everything works fine. Reconnected the Oracle taillight and the issue persists. I've had them for about 15 months but for well under 5k miles. No extreme trails or anything that would have caused an issue. Surely, they should hold up better than this.

I sent in a tech request/warranty request and was asked for my purchase receipt. That was a couple of days ago. Nothing back yet but hoping to hear something soon.

here’s my experience: i was part of the initial group buy 2 years ago. the lights have been working fine until this weekend when i noticed my passenger taillight stopped working. i also have contacted Oracle for a warranty replacement. I’m glad i kept my OEM lights.
I had no problem getting a warranty replacement for my one faulty light. That being said I reinstalled my OEM LEDs and will keep oracles as a backup if I ever need them

Maybe Oracle can sort mine out as well. Purchased March of last year, LED’s are dying, just like the last set. Moisture seems to be the problem once again. Can you help?

Update: the second replacement has been working as advertised for 6 months now. I am feeling a lot better about this. I really like the look and the brighter backup lights.

Try checking the connections, ensuring the resistors are properly installed, and double-checking the Tazer settings. If all else fails, contact support.

Terry,

How long does it take for a tracking number? I haven’t received any notifications, or the tail lights. If you could look into this for me that would be great. I would like to have them on before EJS.

Pretty disappointed, I was hoping the teething issues had been sorted by now.

I picked up a brand new set to swap in because I kept hitting my current taillights with my knee every time I used the corner step on the bumper.

They're replacing a set of ebay special no name brand (WinJet?) LED taillights that have worked flawlessly for the last 2 years, fit perfectly, had sequential signals, and ran me $200 bucks. And they looked good!

IMG_9543.JPG

Well, they solved my clearance issue with climbing in the bed, but they've got problems.

IMG_9551.JPG

Right out of the box, the fitment is off, driver side taillight sits almost a quarter inch off the body. Tried holding the taillight with my hand, adjusting the rubber grommet, and still no luck. The only saving grace is that my tailgate wrap helps hide it. For $400 bucks, I was kind of hoping that they would fit just as well as my other aftermarket lights.

IMG_9556.JPG

Also, it looks like they might not be lighting up properly! One side is noticeably dimmer than the other.

Ironically enough, the driver-side running dim might be safer, it's hard to tell when the passenger-side turn signal is on.

But I think my driver side light is a dud.

Hi we responded in the other thread but would like to here as well. We can assure you that the issue with the faulty batch of lights has been resolved and this could be a number of things that we would like to troubleshoot with you. There is of course a chance that there is still an issue with your LED component, but we can assure you this is not an overarching problem. We stand by our product and warranty and will make this right if there is any issue.

Please take a moment to fill out our online warranty request here: https://www.oraclelights.com/RMA and someone from our customer service department will be in contact with you shortly. Thank you!
