The turn signals come on and burn as a DRL instead of the outside fender white lights, kinda like the Tacoma and Tundra does. It comes automatically just like the regular DRL does when you crank up the jeep. I have replaced mine with led bulbs so they burn pretty bright. I prefer the amber DRL over the white, just a preference.

I sold my Tacoma to buy the JT. I always drove with my DRL on with my Tacoma. As you said, two amber lights up front with nothing else on. My JT Sport S doesn’t seem to offer that. With DRL on, the rear lights are on as well. They also don’t turn off when you turn off the truck, the way my Tacoma did. I find the Jeep doesn’t turn the lights on in Auto as soon as I would like, when it is dark or raining. Would JScan allow me to replicate how the DRL worked in my Tacoma?

I'm not sure about if they will come on when dark out or when it's raining, keep in mind I have a regular sport, but as soon as you turn the jeep on they will come on without the taillights being on. It will allow you to set it that way.

Thanks, yea, I didn’t mean could DRL come on automatically. I was asking if they could be on without the rear. I am also curious if you can leave your light switch set to DRL and have power cut when you turn off the Jeep. I wish it were able to do that now, but if I need to invest in JScan to do it, so be it

Yes, you can have the power to the DRL to shut off when you turn off the jeep. Mine turns off and on when I start up and turn off the jeep. I think the Canadian DRL setting is what you have to set it at to achieve this if I can remember correctly. Sorry it's been about 5 months since I set it, but I'm pretty sure it was Canadian DRL setting that made it so it. It would be worth the $90 for you to get one IMO.

I just downloaded the app to poke around:
FC2DB91E-7033-476D-990B-24D62799D9AF.webp
Yeah, when I played with the demo on the app I got an error message on that function so I was wanting to know if anyone who has it installed on their Jeep was able to actually disable the feature.

I didn't even know it was added. I looked for that when I got mine and didn't see that function. I'll give it a shot after work and see if I can get it to work.

I tried to get it to work and couldn't get it to take. I sent JScan developer a message last night, he said it's in Beta and testing but not ready yet. He said should be ready and functioning in the next few days.

It will be worth $90 just to not have to hit that button EVERY time I get in the truck.

So I got all the stuff today was able to change tires to 35inch, turn seat belt alarm off, change tpms settings to 25 psi. For the drl how do you turn it off? I see where you can move it, so I moved it to fog lights. I added the Oracle bi led lights so they have the drl halo built in so I wanted fender drl off. What are the drl configuration that has different countries listed

You went farther than I did...... It was 108 today so I did the minimum.

So I got the OBD scanner and security wire today too, and got it all connected to the JT and working.

In the app I set my tire height and then followed the instructions. After a test drive up to 60 everything matched up.

Although from the videos online the steps for the Gladiator were completely different. I wish the developer would use multiple sentences to explain what needs to be done or what should happen.

not just........."Turn off open door close door wait 5 minutes"

I don't know.... couldn't you put "what" I am turning off, the car, the plug... do I leave it plugged in.... some kind of message that says done..... and maybe ok safe to unplug now?

I was really scarred that I was going to screw something up, but it looks to all be ok and working perfectly.

Also, I don't know if its easier in another trim but those plugs are a bi#ch to get in and out on the Rubicon.

Jeep could have definitely put plugs in a better place, they were definitely a pain. And I agree with you on the close door wait 5 mins process

The different countries are just for if you want to set it to European DRL or Canadian DRL, I had to set mine to Canadian to get it to set to turn signal for some reason. Also to turn it off I included a picture

After this you may have to go to reset ECU to get it to take. Sometimes that is required to get things to take.
