Yes I can see it on the axle housing too. Need to get it in asap but I'm working way too much.@glassjawkid32 If I look at your interior tire sidewall, it look likes some fluid already splash on it.

Can you explain what you did. Picking mine up soon and don't want to deal with this problem if possibleLatest build date we've seen so far is 5-26-21.
Mine was built 5-27-21. I'm working toward 7,000 on the odometer now and I've towed pretty heavy with the truck and I have zero axle leaks. Bone dry.
I will mention that literally as soon as I pulled into the driveway after taking delivery of mine, I modified the vent tube cap to allow easier flow of pressure. Is that why I have no leak? Can't say, but it sure didn't hurt. The rear vent tube is plugged up like a wine bottle on these things from the factory. Ridiculous.
The dealer service department let me drive mine. I put 700 miles on it between the first appointment and it getting fixed when they got the axle in.so if it does leak and you have to wait on parts, do they "let" you drive your truck?
At the end of the vent hose (up in the frame) there is a small black vent. I replaced it with something less restrictive. Can you explain what you did. Picking mine up soon and don't want to deal with this problem if possible
I had literally no clue until I saw these threads so thank you for that lolI'm the one who started the axle leak thread. Mine was probably leaking since new. I noticed it at around 900 miles when I looked under my truck to check spring PNs. It was especially noticeable since a couple days before I had done close to 100 miles on dirt/gravel roads. The dirt/dust was plastered all over the inside of the wheel and brake dust shield.
My Dealer fixed it, no questions asked. This was back in April.
Based on the small sample in this poll it seems close to 25% are leaking. Not good. I wonder how many out there are leaking and the owner has no clue.
Compare to the right side. My driver side doesn't look greasy at all, left side different story. How can you tell if it's leaking vs just dirty/wet from the road?
Actually it is the right side (passenger side) When talking about right or left it's as if you're sitting in the drivers seat.Compare to the right side. My driver side doesn't look greasy at all, left side different story.
If you follow the vent tube off the rear axle to where it is clipped to the underside of the bed, you'll see a cap on the end. I removed the lid from this cap. It snaps off. Then I punctured the membrane. Then I removed some of the cotton discs. I verified by blowing into it that air flows more easily now, but water still won't get in. Then I popped the cap back on and reinstalled it all.Can you explain what you did. Picking mine up soon and don't want to deal with this problem if possible

In my case a small universal fuel filter, like the pic I attached.
In hindsight it may not be the problem. If too much pressure was building up in the axle it would seem both sides of the axle would be springing leaks, not just the RR.
