Hello , I am new to the forum and need some help. I just had the factory 2 inch lift installed on my 2020 Gladiator. I love the lift and my new tires and wheels look great. One little problem though. I believe the backspace and or offset is not correct. My tires stick out about 2.5 - 3 inches beyond the fenders. My wheels are Fuel Ammo # 701 size 17x9 4.53 bs with - 12 offset and the tires are Nitto Terra Grapplers 35x12.5. My Gladiator is a 2020 Sport, ( no max tow package. ) . I would really like any input about the proper wheels offset and bs. I would like the tires to be under the fenders , I don't really like the tire sticking out look. Does anyone know if I could run one of the OEM wheels without having problems rubbing , I do like a few of the OEM after market options. Please help !

Your probably in the minority of wanting the tires inside the fenders. Most prefer them out for aesthetics and wider track for off roading. However keeping them inside does prevent rock chips and mud etc. from splashing up on the sides. However, I'm not sure if this is even possible with 12.5 inch wide tires. The factory rims on my Rubicon are offset to sit inside the fenders, and I'm at the limit with 10.5 inch wide tires. Someone with 12.5 inch wide tires may be able to chime in if it's even possible. I like my OEM wheels with the Stingray color, but want them out of the fenders more - considering spacers, but not sold on them just yet.

I ran a +10 offset wheel on my JT Rubicon with 12.7" wide tires and my tires ever so slightly poked out from under the fender flares. Most of the Fuel wheels are going to be either a -12 offset or a +1 offset in a 17" diameter wheel. The more positive the offset the closer it brings the wheel in towards the hub.

Did you measure both sides to see if they are equal? Did you have an adjustable front track bar installed along with the Mopar lift? I ask this because even with 37x12.50x18 Black Rhino wheels and -18 offset, 4.75" backspacing, I only had 1.5" outside the fenders (Rubicon). Your front axle may have shifted during installation and one side may be off more than the other.

I run 35"/12.5 nitto R/G on my JTR with stock wheels. I needed spacers after lift/new control arms; before that, it was fine.

There are some +25 and +30 wheels available which would keep the tires nearly completely under the flare.

Totally possible...

Here in PA, tire poke can get you a ticket.

Im running Black Rhino Arsenals 17x8, +30 with Falken Wildpeak MT 37x12.5

No poke...no rub...spare fits under.

AEV makes wheels that are 17x8.5 with +25 they are the correct offset for the JT. I do not understand the desire to have the tires extend beyond the fenders, IMO it looks ridiculous and throws stuff on the side of the Jeep and cars around you on the road which is why in many states you cannot pass inspection with tires extending beyond the fenders.

KMC’s Offroad Tech series of wheels (and I am sure some of their other offerings) come in a 17x9 +18. You will be close to completely under the fender with a 11.5 width tire, and pretty close to flush with a 12.5. I get a small amount of poke with 12.5 inch width (wider track axles).

Has anyone used a set of flat fenders that are wider than stock to cover up the poke?
