If MPG is a big concern, a Jeep is not the best choice. The gas engine is a good choice for shorter trips. The Ecodiesel is a good choice if you do a lot of long distance driving. My last diesel was a 2006 Duramax. I do not want one of the newer diesels because of the emissions requirements.Hey Guys,
I am considering a Gladiator. Prefer an EcoDiesel, but my local dealer has a 2023 Mojave 3.6 V6 automatic that is heavily discounted.
The window sticker says the V6 gets 17/22 MPG. Is this true?
What are you guys getting for MPG on a stock Mojave?
Thanks in advance.
Truth be said, there aren't any good MPG choices when it comes to body-on-frame 4X4 vehicles. Tacoma, Wrangler, Ranger, Bronco, Colorado, Canyon, Frontier, Gladiator are all in the same ballpark. If MPG is a big concern, a Jeep is not the best choice.
Good to know! The gas engine is a good choice for shorter trips. The Ecodiesel is a good choice if you do a lot of long distance driving. My last diesel was a 2006 Duramax. I do not want one of the newer diesels because of the emissions requirements.
I have a gas engine Overland that is mostly stock. I get up to 22mpg on highway trips. Daily driving is around 15mpg. I do a lot of remote start and sitting idle so that the cab is comfortable when I get in.
This is exactly my experience with my 2” lifted Mojave with 37’s and 5.38’s. In the truck’s defense, I’m pretty heavy on the throttle and the speeds on our interstate hover between 70-80. I noted that when I drop my speeds on rural highways my MPG’s jump 2-3.I get 12 average with both 35s and 37s.
I thought you said goodbye to us Jeep peasants a couple months ago? Already coming back?Hey Guys,
