If someone has no issue and just responding to the recall, I can't see why this isn't a have a free coffee while you wait kind of commitment. I've been leaning towards a battery issue and not quite sure why this isn't a priority. Not because I want to be special or anything, but if it really is a recall-related failure, I'd think Stellantis needs to know about it right away.

You're not wrong. If anything they could save themselves a boatload of customer and service dept irritation by being clear that the INSPECTION portion is 20 minutes that you can wait for and have a cuppa coffee in the lounge. If the repair is needed, it's going to be a loaner/shuttle situation and handle accordingly.

Had I not had the pressure test done and the UConnect diagnostics performed I could have been in and out in an hour. I'd wait for that. Hell, I spent 20 minutes shooting the shit with a salesman on the floor drooling over Hellcat Durangos.

I had an initial response from Stellantis, offering rental reimbursement of $50 per day, or $60 a day if I rent a Chrysler vehicle. My response was that I picked the cheapest possible rental because I didn't trust you would reimburse me and I will still have the same out of pocket costs if I upgrade to one of your vehicles. I'm not holding my breath for an answer today, but at least we have some baby steps.

I wonder what the Bronco folks are going through with their massive recall?

Probably similar. We had the BS in for a recall and some maintenance. The local Ford dealer is jammed up with Bronco and F150 recall work alone. And if you ask any of the service writers, they'll all tell you they specifically do not own newer Fords for many reasons, least of which is the recalls.

I've only had 1 recall on my 2020 F150.

Well, I brought it into the dealership for the recall. Along the way, I got a fluids change and a 5 tire rotation.

But as far as the recall goes, they took it into the shop and did an inspection on the wiring and connections. They even went so far as to show me a few photos of what a bad connection would have looked like versus what mine did. Was actually pretty enlightening.

Long story short, it seems I need no work done and have the paperwork to prove that they did the inspection.

Took my tazer out on Tuesday night in prep for my dealer visit yesterday.
Took Izzy to our local dealer, of whom…..I’ve never been a fan of. It’s just more convenient being 2 miles from where the hubby works versus our favorite dealer being 25 miles away.

Requested they check for any updates (computers, firmware, yadda yadda) - they said “There are none”

Requested they test the shocks/ride quality. The Mojave just doesn’t ride smooth like it used to. I wasn’t expecting them to find anything, but at least the ‘complaint’ is on file. No leaks…. . My warranty runs out in March 2027.
Maybe my ass is just getting softer and I’m feeling more bumps as I age?? 🤣

The Recall ? I got a “PASS” - so nothing more needs to be done.

No rental available for me when I went in for my 5 or 7 recalls.

Bronco recalls.

I've only had 1 recall on my 2020 F150.
My brother sold all three F-150 (I think those were 2023) . He got a new Ram Rebel for himself and Toyota RAV4 for his kids… He really hated dealing with the Ford dealer service department…

On the Gladiator, I was supposed to take mine in today but the trim around the emergency brake has not arrived… Dealer asked me to just wait until that comes in to do both…

Took my Mojave in Tuesday to the Carvana CDJR formerly San Diego Jeep made an appointment online Monday afternoon for Tuesday late morning. Brought it in told them i would wait for the inspection if i could, they offered to wash it if i was not in a hurry and could wait a little longer. Like most it passed with no issues i had looked the harness and connector over when the recall became official did not see anything but wanted it officially signed off.

Same outcome as most = no problem. This means you need no fix.
Maybe, but they still logged it as an interim inspection, so I'm assuming there's an actual fix coming later.
