The thing about the factory aux switch option is it gets you slightly larger battery.......... you don't get that with after-the-sale installs or non-MOPAR switches.
Yes, it's 700 CCA, plenty to work behind a winch.

Ok, which option(s) didn't you get!
I didn't order the truck. Bought it used with 1650 on the clock, AND the previous owner had added the AEV lift, N-Fabs, Sunrider, Bak cover, Line-X, and boolit antenna, so I got all of that for nothing extra.

I eep is throwing out rebates on gladiator for this month, pretty much make straight up purchase better deal
That will vary greatly from dealer to dealer. A factory incentive means nothing when they charge a $15,000 market adjustment.

Personally, I’d rather order and get exactly what I wanted for something so expensive with an upfront price. No games to play.

Pfffft. My Gladiator can't seem to fully charge the one I've got...

Seriously though, not getting aux switches is probably my only regret.

LOL - I hear ya, and agree.
Yeah, that's one of the things I had on the pro side of my pros and cons, why or why not, when deciding whether or not to trade.
I regretted not getting the switches even though at the time I bought this one, I wasn't sure what I'd even use them for. Now I have some ideas............

One cool thing with OEM is it is programmable to remember last state and also can be momentarily or latching depending on what you are connecting to it.

Good deal, I'd say.

Can remember last state if set to power source as ignition and set as latching.

Yes, I have the back lights in my ditch lights wired to their own switch I just leave it on and it stays on.

Not exactly. $6000 u saved does not include the time, travel cost and trade in tax saving.

Jeep is throwing out rebates on gladiator for this month, pretty much make straight up purchase better deal
The airplane ticket cost me $140, $180 in gas and one day of my time.

So if we figure $260 in gas now, its $400 plus one day.

Do you make $5400 per day? I don't. If you do. Fantastic. I am sincerely very happy for you.
(A friend of mine who is a surgeon found a similar deal on a Porsche Taycan. Its not worth $6k for him, so I understand)

But for most of us, its worthwhile.

All of the "my way is better" stuff........... doesn't anyone enjoy a vacation day taking a drive, seeing things, maybe stopping at the home of someone you know online, maybe take an extra day to do or see something along the way?
Everyone tries to sell others on "how I did it is a lot better". Maybe for THAT person, not for others.
I would drive down - just because I've never driven to that area.
Most short trip airplane trips suck, hassle, pain in the butt. Worth the lack of frustration to avoid an airplane trip. The rude pushy people, lack of space, leaving a vehicle at the airport(never will) or getting a ride to the airport. Waiting, sitting, lines, did I mention RUDE people pushing and shoving.......

Do it however you want. It's what you've decided is best for you - but others may have other priorities that are far more important to them.

Me - I'd pay a grand to cut the hassle and avoid a long trip - and that's just what I've done.

Besides, what's the arguing about who's method of going to get a vehicle is better got to do with aux switches in a Rubicon?

I didn't like the location of the factory switches in my test drives... Also only 4 switches!

I ordered a Voswitch JL200, because 1. Who doesn't like the look of rockers? And 2. Things fall out of that too holder at anything more than a 15° climb, a safety hazard in a manual trans!

Mine came without them as well. I bought the switch from the dealer and installed it myself. Works perfectly.

Mine came without also. Bad thing is and I don’t know if it’s because I have a diesel, you can’t add it…. …at least that’s what I’m told.

It’s just a black pocket deep enough to fit 90% of a Copenhagen can. It’s never bounced out.

it has the 26R package…what ever that is.

Actually, unless there is something I don’t know relative to the Diesel vs Gasser you most certainly CAN add the aux switches . My buddy bought a rubicon off the lot which didn’t have them. He bought the oem switch panel/harness via Mopar and we installed them and he activated them via Tazer.
