Glad you are ok. Could have been a lot worse. Time to start shopping for a new Gladiator.

Years ago I worked with a field service rep when I was at Elliott. He was going from one job to another at 3am on some back county road in Maine. He hit a moose in the middle of nowhere. He had to walk back about 3 miles to the last house he seen with a light on. He spent over 2 months in the hospital.

I hit a cow with a motorcycle one in 1975 at night on a back country road. I limped away from that one.

Glad you’re OK. One of my best friends was killled by a moose back in the 70’s in NH. He had just bought his first new car …a Cuba with a six pack, 4 on the floor. The thing was fast as hell.

One night he hit a moose near Berlin NH and the moose went through the windshield and killed him and the moose. All that was sticking out of the windshield were the legs….

I'm sorry but every time I start to comment on this thread "Smoked a Moose" my mind goes back to my college days in the late 70's - early 80's.

I went to college in the very late 90s/early 2000s. Was that what y’all called it back then? We called it very different terms.

I think you only needed to say “smoke” or “smoked” and nothing else was heard, but most people related with the first word.

Hah. Fair enough and that hasn’t changed. Although, I’m old now so I don’t was thinking of smoking meat. I’ve never eaten moose. I was intrigued. lol.

I like Elk meat ,I never had Moose either Jim Shockey always said Moose was the best Venison .

I had an older GMC with those large rounded tow hooks. A young buck decided to run in front of me. Those hooks opened him up like can of tuna. His insides came up over the hood like a bow wave and covered the windshield. Summer evening windows down. Truck had little damage but between me and wife hurling from wearing his guts and his insides everywhere. Insurance totaled as a biohazard. Truck was a week old. Damn rodents of all sizes

Get yourself a welded on stinger hoop with gussets for your next bumper, it will help trap/push down anything you hit.

Then you can catch some air off of it lol
