Home built camper? I've pondered doing a similar build in the past. Interested in more information if your willing. We leave in about 4 hours with this on a 6000 mile trip....last on the scale was 1584 but now its totally loaded. See what it comes in at. Got 14 mpg towing around town. Hopefully it stays close to that.

We have Uwarrie in September and Greenbrier in October. Looking forward to getting back on the trails. Lot of pavement this summer...Just returned from Killington Jeep Jamboree. It is about 2 hrs each way. The gladiator pulled the TJ very well. That includes a pretty good climb and decent in the mountains of VT
Not sure if I came back to this thread and reported this. I got 21.7mpg driving up to Seattle keeping it about 70mph. I got 11.8 on the return trip.Ha! I expect it to be much worse than I got driving up here but not THAT much worse, sheesh.
I'll report what I get on the first tank so I'll know what to expect but I was hoping for 12-13mpg. At home with around town driving, a little freeway driving I get between high 15's and low 17's.
