If that's the way it is, wouldn't we all have the same problem? But there are many where the HVAC system works as intended.
They probably don't want to fix it.
FCA quality assurance is so crappy they can't even recreate the same problems consistently across all vehicles

Feel free to search the Wrangler and Gladiator forums; there are plenty of posts on this issue. It is well known.
It took FCA 4 model years to figure out something was wrong with JL's steering and come up with a fix. The HVAC issue must be way down their list.
