I bought the wrangler kit. They are not new tech by any means. You can also google “ bypass oil filter “ there are a few brands

I am pairing mine with an oil cooler as well. Got the cooler from summit. I’m still sorting the install. I’ll start a thread when I get that far

Looks like a pretty cool setup, any concerns about warranty if you have engine problems with it installed?

If I had an engine failure I’d remove it before having it taken in. But I’m not really concerned bout that, increased filtration is never a bad thing.

This is assuming you were near home when the failure occurs? I had the same thoughts, but if I broke down 5 states from home, it would be an expensive tow back to make the swap?

Lol yes. However it’s a rather simple system so keep your stock oil cap and filter under the back seat and in a matter of minutes should the engine fail I could rip out any trace of the aftermarket system. However I’m not really going to sweat it. The kit itself consists of an oil filter cap a filter canister that you bolt to the frame and a return cap for the filler port… plus they would have to prove your filter caused the problem correct??

I better take my stock wheels/tires, suspension lift, freedom tops, etc with me too just in case. You think they might think it's odd for the tires to have a 2020 build code, truck has 20k miles, but tires still have the casting nipples on them? ?

I used to do stuff like this when I first bought my Cummins in 2006. I ended up just carrying a spare cam/crank sensor, fullflow/bypass filters, and a belt towards the end. We used to go some places that would have been a long walk out with no phone service in that truck.

I do my own changes. I’m able to source genuine mopar filters and Valvoline 0w20 full synthetic from Autozone. I also added an oil pan valve to make it effortless with no mess.

Fumoto Original F106S with LC-10... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07D99BSPX?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

double check the valve model, as I have a 3.6. Obviously my oil type is different than that for the diesel as well. Sorry. It’s small brain Tuesday.
When you installed your valve, did you need the adapter?

Score!!!! The only thing I don’t like is that it doesn’t say for Diesel engine. Granted…it doesn’t say for gas either. It just has the MS-12991 certification on it. Am I okay?
