Weathertech Mud Flaps

Does anyone have these on a '22 Sport or Sport S? Trying to order for my MT and it's saying they don't have anything for the '22 Sport, but they do for the '22 Rubicon.

Did Jeep change anything with the fenders on Sports from '21 to '22? Or more likely to be an error on their end? Just weird that it lets '22 Rubicon proceed.

Thank you for your interest in WeatherTech! We do not currently offer MudFlaps for the 2022 Jeep Gladiator Sport because we have not been able to locate and test fit this vehicle yet. It looks like it is likely a carry-over model from 2021. Once we are able to locate a vehicle we can approve current parts or create new ones based on the fitment results.

Thinking about just winging it and ordering them. I don't recall seeing anything different between the 21 and 22 sport fenders.

Used mojave here. Rock rails were replaced with Rock Slide Engineering steps. I know that people are saying the Rubicon flaps from Weathertech will fit, but will the indentation for the rubi rail look out of place with my setup?

I don’t think it will be an issue at all. I have the rubicon front flaps on, and have the rock rails off right now because I was getting ppf done. The indents don’t jump out at you even with nothing there. It is far enough to the inside it isn’t noticeable. ??

I installed the rubicons on my Mojave last night, perfect fit.

agree these wouldn’t survive wheeling but I just camp and tow my boat… I wanted flaps in the back so my boat fiberglass doesn’t get speckled.

i have a '22 Willys that has the Rubicon rock rails, used the WT Rubicon front ones w the indent for the rail and they are perfect. I think they would be ok out 4wheeling, maybe not extreme hardcore rock climbing. I didnt put rears on yet, the factory fenders do pretty good, but i might put em on.

I forgot to take mine of at Rausch Creek a few weeks ago and they got dragged over every rock there, and still look brand new. Doesn't really look like it put any stress on the mounting points either. I have no plans on taking mine off anymore.

I have them and love them. One of the rears is scuffed on the bottom from scraping. May lose one at some point. But they're good for my paint, and I don't care for the look of the Rok Blokz thingies . . .

The bigger issue with flaps is when you back up a rock and pinch the flap between the rock and your tire and rip it straight off.

I learned abut this years ago when I was on a mild off-road trip in my old Montero. I had flaps all around. They screwed into the sheetmetal of the fenders. I wasn't even stuck. Just backing up to get to a dry place to get out to have something to eat. (If I remember right) and I pinched the flap and ripped it clean off.

I could have cried, the screw holes were torn and sheetmetal was damaged. Oops. Live and learn.

I have no idea if I'll ever use the thumbscrews on my RokBlokz. But It makes me feel good that they are there.

So I'm not really crazy about the looks of the Rockblokz mud flaps, and at $170, just not gonna happen. Trying to find someone who has installed the Weathertech mud flaps, especially on a Sport S. I have a Sport S with take off Rubi Suspension and Rubi Rails.

What is the difference between the Rubicon version vs the Sport version?
Will a Sport S with Rubi rails need the Rubicon version?
Since the factory Jeep Rubicon fender flares are higher, do I need the Sport version?

Haven't found an answer to this yet....and decided not to keep hijacking the Rockblokz thread.

I like mine, easy to install and don't look bad.
