Well I sold my Gladiator

Again, very much disagree. If we can drive our JT or JLU 24 hours straight with stops only for fuel and a 1 hour break for a nap at a rest area, I can hardly say awkward and uncomfortable.
Granted, my very heavy tall Mojave doesn't do well in the MPG side of things (17.x most of the time) but our Overland did over 20 - impressive for a pickup shaped like a brick. I bet a stock Sport could do better. Perhaps 22-23, again, not bad for a vehicle that's quite capable right off the transport truck.

Don't know why you believe a stock JT can't do anything other than groomed dirt roads. I've seen 'em do plenty, even me - first time out with mine, was pretty impressive, and that came from long-time Jeep off-roaders who were there.

I'm not seeing it either, but each to their own opinion.

I'm on year three of mine, and other than it needing a fresh set of quiet tires (arriving today) I have found it great for daily driving. It's been great for being a 'small truck'. Bed is always full of bricks or tools or other BS and pulls my trailer all the time for large items.

Comfort has been fine. No complaints there.

I don't care about the fuel mileage. Is what it is.

I've wheeled mine on all the mid level trails at Merus. It does totally fine on mild obstacles with a good driver. I have Rubi tires but that's it.

I had a JK for six years prior to this, so I'm already used to 'Jeep-isms' as I will call it - and maybe that is why my opinion differs.

My girlfriend doesn't care to drive my Gladiator, and she drove a JL Wrangler before and didn't care for it, either. She prefers things like her mini van, or the late model F150 she used to have.

It's an extremely vital tool to me. My other daily is my 2015 Camaro SS, and it's probably a little more comfortable and ride quality is a touch nicer - but I reach for my truck most of the time.

I believe @Trippin01 is tripping. Everything negative he posted I have not seen on the two I've owned, nor any of the others within my circle of loser friends.

I will just use one example. My Gladiator is far superior as a daily driver than my previous Toyota Tacoma, comparing apples to apples.

I have a slightly different opinion, as I have owned several other vehicles in between...but I keep coming back to the Gladiator. I am on number four. I have put 10,000 miles on mine in less than four months. Even with 37's and 3.5 lift mine is a daily driver that still makes me smile!

Unfortunately, since I joined in 2019, after purchasing my JT-MT, I've seen this all to often. Impulse buy, thinking it will make a great daily driver, and the truck in it's stock form, even the Rubicon, are useless as anything more than a dirt road vehicle. Uncomfortable, awkward with less than appeasing MPG's, and other than the Rubicon model, un-capable of off-roading past a groomed gravel trail, new owners become former owners and love to post here how good they feel about ditching their JT's for something more capable for slick roads (AWD trucks), something with better MPG's or a traditional Jeep that has a shorter wheel base and far more "Off-Road capabilities, right off the lot and needing far fewer mods to get on the jeep trails. Sad but true. JT's make great adventure vehicles when properly modified and used as a 3rd vehicle. 1st time Jeep owners that buy JT's typically are ecstatic to rid themselves of their JT by year 3 at the latest. Colleting Rubber ducks isn't all that its cracked up to be. I Love my JT, but only as a 3rd vehicle, I tried to use it as a primary, but I too hated it being forced to drive it Daily, and it hated as well. Just say'n.

My first Jeep and so far my favorite vehicle out of all the many I have owned. Everyone is different, I guess to each his own opinion.

I had a 2022 Tacoma I bought new, kept it about 2 years, no complaints about it but love my Gladiator more.

Vital to me also. MY Jeep is my Job. I must have it maintained and ready at all times. I drive to and from work everyday 65 miles one way and average 2800-2900 + a month. That is no Joke and I have owned it for 5 years in December. The capabilities of this truck surpass any other truck I ever owned off-road which I do every single day .. you couldn't give me a toyota and couldn't chase me away from it.
