My Gladiator is basically stock and I’ve been very impressed with the fuel economy. I drive very conservative (rarely ever in a rush). I’m curious to know whats the best people have gotten in their Gladiator?

So, how exactly are you driving this thing? Are you like, pretending the brake is cancer and timing all your accelerations accordingly? Is this a diesel?

26mpg average over 300 miles which is what you appear to be advertising here is no small feat.

It would help if the OP would describe the conditions for the 300 mile trip.

I have gotten 25 in highway driving (65-70 MPH), but my average overall is 22. Still very very good. My average is for my daily commute, which consists of about 1 mile at 35 MPH, 9 miles at 45 MPH, 5 miles at 50 MPH, and 6 miles at 55 MPH. All of it has traffic lights, which are coordinated very well in the May-Nov (off season here). I expect my average will go down a bit in the heavy traffic season this winter.

Like the OP, I usually drive with a very light foot. I also let ESS work at long lights. It does helps, in spite of some protests to the contrary.

That particular trip was traveling ~200 miles at avg 70 mph. I do not have a diesel.

I just set the cruise control and go. I also had a light load, about 100 pounds in the bed (tool box, and other gear).

My combined commute driving (Sport S, auto, tow package, stock tires) is right at 22 mpg.

Now that I know what it's capable of, I'll stop babying it, though.

On 'flat' freeways, truck empty, doing 65, I get ~22mpg.
My normal day to day use with a fairly even mix of city/hwy driving, I get ~18 mpg.

Average around 18.5 bopping around. Best seen was 23.8 (both instrument panel and calculated fill to fill) straight highway. That was the weekend after I got it (19 July, 2019) and drove to Boston, MA and back from just outside of Philly. Haven't done any real long trips since :(

JTR, leveled with 35's and I can't get over 16.5. Prior to leveling and tires, I think I got 18 once.

My average based on actually calculate fuel at the pump and doing mileage based on google maps is 17.5 city.

My peak mileage was a long haul from MD to KY on a single tank of gas. Overfilled the tank till I could see fuel, no stops the entire way, keeping the needle between 65 and 70mph I was able to get 22.5mpg. 39PSI in the tires.

Bone stock 4.10 max tow Sport S w/ auto.
