It is a pouring sloppy wet mess, here in Northern California. It's been raining hard non stop all day. I begrudgingly went to the store to get stuff to make rice crispy treats. My wife and daughters were begging me to. On the way to the store I saw a crossover SUV stuck belly deep in the mud, along the side of the road. Fortunately, I just put a winch on my JT a couple weeks ago. First time ever using a winch, pulled him out and he was on his way. I was drenched but couldn't have had more fun. I think it made my day more than it made his.

We took our JT Willys ,the "GOOSE", on her first ferry ride across the sound. Popped her nautical cherry.

This past weekend. First tow in 5.13 gears.

This Jeep (or its owner) hasn't met a sand hill it didn't like.
Keep your rocks and mud holes (for now).
Maybe it's the equivalent of the bunny slopes but I'm having fun and not leaving with broken pieces or a hundred extra pounds of terra stuck to the undercarriage.

Do you have 3.73s? I towed with my lifted on 35s 3.73 and it was the most miserable thing. Getting on the highway truck wouldn’t want to get below 5000rpm. Had to manually upshift.

Yup. 3:73's. I was on backroads. It didn't feel terrible, but I definitely wouldn't tow cross country on these gears.
