Since my ordered Mojave isn't here yet, I took my nephew out exploring in his Rubicon. We had a blast!

First ever wheeling day spent at Uhwarrie National Forest. It’s been said before, but I was truly amazed at what the Gladiator can do. Such a blast.

My son and I spent the day with a random couple we met at the Outpost. Had fun in the mud since it rained overnight. We saw lots of other Gladiators on the trail.

One of our favorites of all time right there. Great shots! Especially like the one of the sun and clouds. The plane contrails are very cool.

Did another trail in Truckee, Bear Valley Loop. Was hesitant to attempt a particularly tricky rock hill, but a fellow Jeep showed up, I quickly chatted with him and it gave me the confidence to try. Ended up being quite the trail - wasn’t able to get outside videos, but will pull my dash cam videos when I get home.

Went to cottage to do fall maintenance, got some birch wood (another truck and trailer full as well), winched the dock off high ground then moved for winter freeze up, wheeled a bit, checked out active loggin area and got stuck in deactivated soupy gravel mud. Winched out in couple minutes. Broke in or maybe I should say Scratched the hell outta one wheel when buried ? and a bit of the bumper. Got a bit famous BC pinstriping on the paint.

Did some road grouse hunting, got 4 of them tasty buggers, saw a 2/3 year old bear, and a 6 point buck. Saw Grizzly tracks.

All in all broke in the gladiator first real offroad duties. Had some good food, fires and drinks with family. Winter is coming.

No need to go any further. You win. Dude, what a great life. Enjoy every minute of it.

We picked up our Gladiator last week Friday. Today we had the first snow in the region, so we drove to a small hill nearby (called "Brotjacklriegel", yes, really) and walked to the top. No view from the top as were climbing into the clouds.
Switched to "4W Auto" for the first time.

I got to go on some trails that were new to me. These are in the 'Devil's Garden', Modoc National Forest, Modoc County, California. Lots of Juniper trees and lava rocks. The mountains off in the distance are the Warner Mountains.

Thanks a lot! It is my first truck, i have to get used the dimensions and weight, but it is really fun.

Concerning winter tires: AFAIR there has always been the M&S marking on winter tires, and i always had a set of summer tires and a set of winter tires for my cars. (All-season tires were never an option in our region.)
Now i learned, if a tire with M&S marking was produced before 2017, it can be used as legal winter tire till 2024. All tires produced after 2017 must have the 3-peak mountain snowflake marking to be a winter tire here in Germany.

Fun fact: In Austria (30 km away from where i live), only the M&S marking is required, so the Dueler is a legal winter tires there!?!

It’s the Mopar lift kit on an Overland. Installing the Teraflex leveling kit next week since I’m putting a winch on.

Did you do the lift kit install yourself or did a shop do it? I am looking for a good shop in the Bay area to do some work. Thanks

Did it myself with a friend. All you really need is an impact wrench, 21 and 24mm wrenches/sockets (unless you already have, but I didn’t), and patience. But as for a shop, not sure. I will be taking mine somewhere for regearing, but it will be a specialty shop - not sure about suspension shops.
