So what did I do with my Gladiator? I pulled our 2013 RZR to town and pulled a 2026 RZR home.

We went and picked up about 100 bales of hay out of 1 of the hayfields. I just pulled the trailer around. Someone younger than I stacked it on the trailer.

Went down to the Jeep dealer to order a right side bumper bezel in preparation for a tow hook on the passenger side. Around $13.00 but it’ll make the install cleaner. Also picked up a foam blaster thing to do car washing with. I’ve been looking at them and for how we do regular car washes it should work. We try to rinse at least a couple times a week but if we can add a decent soap/wax thing to the blaster I think we’ll get a better clean. Living on a dirt road is hell on a paint job. Trying to keep em looking decent up to when I do a liner coating on the Jeep. Picked the colors now have to find a place to do it like I want and gather the funds to get er done.

I've kicked around the idea of getting a foam blaster....let me know how it works out for you !!

I have a little electric pressure washer (1800 psi), I put the soap nozzle on and filled the tank with car wash soap and sprayed the undercarriage when I first brought my Jeep home. Cleaned it up well, but I can't bring myself to spray the body paint with it.

I have a foam gun that I used with my electric pressure washer quite a bit. Big fan of it. Gets a good coating of soap foam on the vehicle, and that helps minimize scratching when washing.

Edit: Checked Amazon, I have this one https://a.co/d/06kD7NCD

Really depends on what you want to do. If you want to do a prewash kid of thing pick up some snow foam to loosen up dirt and grime without touching the vehicle physically. Then use your regular foamy wash with a mit and the 2 bucket method. The foam gives it lube and the not just gives it a light scrub. My goal right now is maintenance so it’s not going to be a perfect wash. Just gets a majority of the dirt and grime without touching and causing possible swirls. Power washer with soap shouldn’t damage the vehicle at all. I use the one that attaches to the hose though. Dual hose bib. 1 for plain water to wet everything and the other to the foam gun to suds it down.

For a full on wash I’ll do everything. Snow foam, regular car wash foam, scrubby mit, dry, and finally wax.

Did my good deed for the day. Saw a 5th wheel jacked up on the side of the road and 2 guys staring at it. That’s not normal. I stopped to see if they were good and they couldn’t get the trailer jacked up high enough to get the tire off. Off-road jack to the rescue!! About time lugging that thing came in handy. Got er done and get em on their way. Good karma yields good karma. Then I picked up my bumper bezel from the Jeep dealership. :like:

LOL.

Nah this was just a test result from my latest blood work (all good, BTW, until this time next year). I didn't have the "Hello Sailor" treatment this time.

But, he was very busy today, I never even met with him, just his assistant. Me, being the smartass I am, he walked past me, not noticing. I said, kinda loud, "Hey Doc !! Can you at least say hi ? We've been intimate, you and me. You felt things I've never had felt before !" He stopped dead in his track, hung his head, turned and smiled. He began walking towards me with his hand extended. I held up both hands and said, "I'm not touching that.". "Good to see you." he said with a smile and turned. I saw his shoulders lurch. He was chuckling.

The assistant I was with said, "We always like when you come in. You have a good attitude and make us laugh.". "Well, this whole place is uncomfortable, I make jokes so we can all relax.".
Thanks for giving some humor. That week wasn't a good one for me.

So on with what I did in early part of the month, stuck closer to home since I had a Dr appointment and my sister had one diagnosed with cancer, so no out of cell service or traveling. Decided to add front deck / porch on cabin. The Gladiator did several trips to Lowe's for building materials. Ended up almost 33ft long 6ft ish wide. While dealing with a substantial amount of rain

Blade1668 -

That's horrible. I'm sorry.

My friend recently lost his 29 year old son. His only son, the nicest kid. Widowmaker in his sleep. We sat in his backyard, silent. When we were both cried out I asked, "Why him ? Look at all the crap we did to ourselves over the years. The drinking. Staying out late. Driving beyond drunk. Not sleeping right, not eating right. Yet here we are, in our 60's, still going. Why ?". He said, "Only God knows your expiration date. Apparently He needed him.".

I was talking to a friend yesterday about the same concept. He lead 14 jeeps on a well known trail, and had people in his group, honking to get by. So weird. I don’t get the desire to beat the crap out of your rig. Slow and relaxed. It’s not a race.
A big part of why I've been out of off-roading groups for a long time. I've never been a "trailer queen" rig owner. Gotta be able to drive it back home. Actually when I got my 4 wheeler(s) not a oh s### I got to fix it for a ride to work. That breaking $$$$ in parts for nothing.

Same. I’m always driving home. And often I need to be in good enough shape to tow a trailer.

Yep. If I'm getting there, I have to survive being there. If I survive being there, I have to return home.

Planning. Planning. Planning. Execution.
There is no hope on the trail. Only preparedness, will to accomplish, and hopefully a good set of the correct tools.

Sorry for your loss. Really, there is no words to say. I feel your pain, as I have lost a sister too.
