To me, stubby bumpers look best but I personally run a full length steel bumper. I’d rather have full width protection when a coyote or a deer runs out in front of me than worry about looks

@Idlethunder makes a valid point about full width protection. That being said, I do not run a full width bumper and prefer the narrower bumper look in your top pic.

I haven't seen a stubby bumper yet that I like the look of. Other folks love the look and that is fine by me.

On the trail though, it is probably better to run a stubby, or remove end caps if your full width bumper has the option to do so.

I personally like the looks of the stubby, but have to say I prefer the protection of the full length. I have a full length steel bumper.

You have the best of both worlds with this bumper. Run the full width for your daily driving and remove the sides for the trails/off road. It looks great wither way, but I agree with the others that the stubby looks best. It is bad ass either way. Nice bumper.

If I had to do all over again I would do the stubby bumper. They just look so badass.

That's what I plan to do when replacing the factory one, full length but with removable end pieces to make it a stubby when needed. Nice looking Jeep ya got there.
